Review El Viejo's Mexican Grill - Broken Arrow

I asked for a ground beef burrito and not sure what I got when I ask for a refund or another product he refused in my opinion it was the worst burrito I have ever taken a bite of I could not even swallow it I had to spit it out I tried to give it to my dog and he wouldn’t even eat it

Amazing, best Mexican food so far. The flavor of the food was on point. Excellent customer service. I recommend this place 💯.

Great little spot in Broken Arrow. Had not been here for years. Have driven by it every day but just seemed to always eat somewhere else. Changed that today, and this will now be our spot. Service was great. Chips were fresh and hot. Their spicy salsa is awesome (mix a little with the normal red for great flavor and spice). Wife and I both had the Texas margaritas, which has an extra shot and orange juice (big is under $9...well worth it). My wife ordered the "Big Chimichangas" and big it was. My wife said it may have been the best Chimichangas she could remember having, so I had to try it. Wow, it was good. I had the "little bit of everything" platter, and man was that a lot of food (took two plates). Everything was great, but the chili relleno deserves some hype. I didn't see that as a dish on the menu, but if it isn't...it should be. Stop in, have a drink, enjoy the food and good service. Won't be disappointed. This is my new spot in B.A.

The value is great. Portion sizes are generous. The food is... just okay. It's a bit more bland than some signature tex-mex dishes you would find at a large chain restaurants that resemble red peppers. Nonetheless, it was good enough that I would recommend going to most people. I'd go back for the value.

I’ve been going to this restaurant off and on for years and it used to be consistently good. I’m not sure what’s happened in the last couple years, but I went with my family a couple weekends ago and the food wasn’t as good this time. The service was also a little rough. After taking our order, the waitress ignored our table and we had to flag down 2 employees before getting our check. After that experience, we likely won’t be going back unfortunately.

Horrible service. Took 15 minutes after we were seated to be asked what we wanted for our drinks. Was asked by a lady if I wanted queso or guacamole, I said queso. Thinking it would be comped for the long wait, it ended up on the ticket. Never asked for it in the first place..We were practically the only people in the building eating besides the employees.

Food was great. My husband and I split the fajita nacho supreme. It was very big. We were so full and even took some to go! My husband made a comment while at lunch how the chicken was some the best he's ever had. We'll be back for sure!! Chips and salsa were amazing!!!

Love this place the food is delicious. The only problem is when you order your queso to go you get so much more than you do when you eat it there. You can order your food they have a drive-thru or dine in. the place is really worth trying.

I went in for take out tonight, for me and my daughter. The food was yummy with great flavor. Very nice authentic restaurant and the staff was very nice as well. The portions were so huge, and those chili rellanos had a wonderful flavor and the perfect batter. So happy to have finally tried this place.

This was absolutely the worst Mexican food I've ever had.... When I questioned the food, our server disappeared only to bring the check! Couldn't even finish a quarter of the so called enchilada...., Will never return!!!! The best Mexican food is definitely Abuelo's....everything homemade, not from a jar like this place!!!!

The food is delicious, the margaritas are amazing, good customer service, the server's are great, clean restaurant, I highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Wife and I kept saying we need to try this place out. Finally, stopped in for lunch today and it just what we hoped it would be. Great service, friendly staff, awesome flavor and great value.

I love this little place. The food is always amazing!! Steak and chicken is our favorite dish. I'm not big on bell peppers or cauliflower but the way they cook their vegetables (also with carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, onions), I eat them first!

Seriously they serve the best tasting salsa I have ever eaten! Both the food and the service were excellent! WE'll BE BACK!!
