First have to mention that the view was really nice. Being seated at the tables near the water is a definite plus. The chips and salsa are good and having a warm salsa option (I believe by request) is a game changer. The queso and the warm salsa together may get you into trouble. My meal was of the traditional affair for a Tex mex establishment so nothing that can really be messed up or made overly well. That being said it was enjoyed and of good proportion. The only complaint I would have is that I believe a friend I was with had a side of quac added and was charged $3 which I thought was excessive. Other than that, quality experience.
Upscale Mexican restaurant with the best steak fajitas in Tulsa. You can order a single with extra sides and it's plenty to share with the wife. I prefer this location over the Jenks one. Live music outside during the summer is a bonus while ding here.
You might think we are eating a lot in the Tulsa area recently, and you would be right. The trips between OKC and Muskogee give new opportunities to eat in the area, and we are taking full advantage. Friday night, we were in the Broken Arrow area around 2000 and were looking for dinner. Los Cabos only had a 20 minute wait, so we decided to try it.
Exceptional service and food quality
Erika our server is very knowledgable and the manager on duty passed by our table several times during our meal . We are in town on business and this restaurant was recommend to us by a local . Glad we came
My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Tulsa area. Not matter where else I go, this place always has me coming back. I love their queso with beef and the chicken flautas. I would definitely recommend this place over Chuy's, On the Border, El Chico, Abuelos, Tres Amigos, Senior Tequila, El Guapo, etc. Really good Mexican food here.
Wow. Just great.. Obviously the people who have reviewed are not in their right mind. It is really good tex mex food. Sure it might be a little noisy, but that's what you get when your resturaunt is so popular. The Mexico City Tacos are great, the fajitas are great, the freshly made chips and salsa, it's all pretty good food. It's a fun place with great service and is the only main attraction at the multi-million dollar shopping center Riverwalk Crossing.
If you like Tex-Mex you will like it. Nice place, good service, good food. Would recommend the cheese enchiladas and the beef taco.
Good Food, but very loud. I food was absolutely fantastic! Except for this nasty green look avocado salsa our waitress touted on us. It wasn't that great. But everything else was really good! The wait was long but we did go at 7 pm on a Friday night so we expected that. Was no big deal. Only Complaint: Music was Loud. It was nice to have a live band, but we happened to be sitting right in front of it, and they stayed there most of the time we were there. However when they moved over to the other side of the restaurant to play it was nice to hear, just faintly. The food is kind of expensive but well worth it!
Pros: Large bar area with comfy booths and highly attentive waitstaff. Ask for tomatillo sauce along with the salsa and chipotle they start with. Food arrives quickly with huge portions. Spinach enchiladas, soft chicken tacos, and tamales with rice and baracho beans all favorites.
Cons: Cold chips.
Good. Had lunch with queso, beef Chimi, and Carne Asada tacos. We were seated in a quiet area of the sometimes noisy restaurant. They had a milder salsa for me, which I appreciated. My husband's Corona was over-priced at $8. He liked his beef Chimi but was disappointed only ground beef was the only beef option. He would have preferred shredded meat. I had carne asada tacos which were very good. The pork was very tender & flavorful. I'll order those again. We also had queso but was disappointed it tasted like Velveeta. Over all, we had a good lunch though a bit pricey.
One of our favorites. I'll start by saying that I didn't care for the fajitas, _but_ everything else I've had here has been excellent. I usually order the shredded beef burrito, which comes with an amazing Anaheim sauce although they never serve it with this sauce unless you specifically ask for it. My wife loves the grilled chicken salad, and she's a picky salad eater. People are friendly and the atmosphere and decor is great.
Best of the Los Cabos!. I don't know exactly why, but this is the best of all the Los Cabos, and Los Cabos is the best mexican food in these parts. I've been through all parts of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona so I do have some say in mexican food at least as far as "tex-mex" is concearned. My favorites are their Spinach Enchilladas because they are an unexpected little slice of heaven on a plate. I've eaten at the other Los Cabos, and there is still something about this one that just keeps me coming back even though I'm much closer to the one in Owasso.
Pretty good stuff. We ate here the other night, and it was a good experience overall. Good Mexican Food, and Dylan the bartender was great. We will be back! The fajitas were very solid!
Chips are never too greasy. Queso is delicious, best I've had. Tortillas are not homemade but still good. The beef & shrimp fajitas are amazing. Chimichangas are great as well! Very nice bar & drinks. Great staff and atmosphere. My favorite place to eat!
The service is spot on, the drinks are amazing and the staff behind the bar are excellent I m a frequent visitor and usually only sit at the bar due to the ppl working there, they are funny as hell and all around great men and women especially Cortez ( damn OSU fans )... Love this place plain and simple.
I think the food here is awesome. The salsa is great. Service is decent, but kind of hit or miss. The food always comes fast especially for such a nice sit-down place. Its always busy which is a good thing in my eyes. Biggest downside is price, but its really not too bad for what you get.
Wonderful food and service. I have been going to the BA location since it opened and have NEVER had a bad experience with either the food..which is delicious...or the service...which is top notch. My husband and I go about once a month and enjoy it every single time.
I liked this place. Had lunch here today, I was impressed with the food! Good menu selection. I had the Cancun and it was very good. Great service!
I love this place:)I always get the beef taco salad.mmmm, yummy!:D
Love the food but 75% of time we get bad or below average service!!:-/
Favorite place for mexican. I have been to Los Cabos dozens of times. The food is ALWAYS amazing. I love the queso and salsa. I am always torn between the chicken enchilada and the steak faquita. Both are very good. The wait staff is ok. I have been and have seen the female staff in short shorts and it honestly made uncomfortable and i found it an inappropriate outfit. The wait can be a little long, it is always pacted, but honestly i think the food is worth the 15-30 minute wait. Just make sure you come early.
With two locations one in Tulsa and the other in Broken Arrow I enjoy this restaurant it has got most of all the stable Mexican offerings with bold Tex Mex flavors. Their white cheese queso has really rich flavor they give you two different salsas one red and one more brown in color that has more of a authentic flavor to it. I order the Guadalajara Platter which has one beef, one chicken, and two cheese enchiladas, a taco, choice of beans and rice all of which are delicious. I usually have them hold the sour cream sauce and replace it with queso.
Con: If you are a burrito lover like me they do not have a decent burrito on the menu which usually is a staple in most Mexican restaurants.
Mostly love it.. My wife and I dine here often. We love this place!! We don't sit at the bar anymore however, because there is a bartender, Cortez, who has offended us many times with foul language, slow service, and ignores us when we talk to him. All the servers are wonderful, never had a complaint against them. The food is expensive, but we continue to pay the price. We believe it is worth it. Once I saw the manager, he was getting onto a server in the kitchen a little too aggressively. These are the only negative things that I have seen in the years we have been dining here. Hard work, great service, good food!
Plus and minuses. I like the food, especially the seafood enchiladas & the fajitia chicken enchiladas, the red salsa is pretty good but not a fan of the roasted.
The drink are expensive, the beer pours are a little weak especially for the price.
Had 1 bartender that made us not want to go back for awhile with the way he treated other guests & employees in front of us, but the last time or 2 we did not see him, so maybe they took care of that.
The other waitstaff has always been very good.
Overall good place just a little $$$ & always super busy.
The beef chimichanga was excellent and their margarita was the best I've ever had! The service was good too. I shall be back!:-)
One of the best meals I've ever had. Excellent food, great service. Our waitress was on the ball. The portions are giant and i have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Well worth the price you pay.
Love Los Cabos! Outstanding food and always have great service when I go there.
I am a regular. I have eaten here almost every weekend for 4 years. I have NEVER had a bad customer service experience or bad food. While the food is expensive it is top notch. I really am floored by the number of bad reviews because for my family it's been great every single time. Thumbs up Los Cabos.
Incredible BBQ ribs. Los Cabos has truly great Mexican food but try the BBQ ribs. They are some of the best you will ever eat. The live music is always good. The service is great. Expect to wait. Enjoy the patio.
I love los cabos, I had the cabo wabo platter. It serves 2 but I one all to myself. Mmmmm good.
Hit & Miss Menu. The service is usually very good, and it's a very neat restaurant, but the menu is a minefield. I accidentally ordered the same thing there twice based on the description, and hated it both times. When I settled on the chimichanga, I finally found the come-back dish. Some of my colleagues are less picky and really like the place - and I like it as well, a lot, except for the fact that what you'd consider a safe "standard" isn't always safe here.
Good Atmosphere. It's fun during the summertime. They usually have a band playing and you can sit on the patio. As far as the food, it's always good, but a little overpriced unless you share an entree. My girlfriend and I share the combination fajitas and an order of cheese dip and eat for under $25. Warning, you will have garlic breath afterwards! Their red sauce and queso is good, but very strong on the garlic. I mix the red sauce with habanero salsa (by request only) which gives it a little kick. The service is lacking if you come with a large group, but you have that anywhere. If it's just two people, the service is usually excellent, especially if you sit by the bar.
Great Food. Great Service.. Love their food!
The food is better than Ted's Café Escondido. However, you will not get the free queso, free tortillas, and free sopapillas that you get at Ted's. You WILL get superior entrées.
I prefer the wait staff that works Mon-Thu during the day. I've been at night and on the weekends and while the service is never bad, the weekday wait staff is definitely superior.
Also, the time you spend waiting to be seated can be particular bad at night and especially on the weekends. So, on the weekends, plan on an early dinner (before 5:30) or a late one (after 8:30) to avoid the evening crowds.
I prefer "Americanized" Mexican food. Mexico isn't erxactly known for its cuisine. Hardly anyone vacations there with the goal of heading off the beaten path to eat authentic Mexican food and there's a reason for it. I prefer my yellow cheeses and flour tortillas. The Americanized version of Mexican food is tastier, hands down. So, the wannabe "foodies" on urbanspoon can spare us their food snobbery about authenticity.
Great Customer Service/Management. About a week ago, my husband picked up a carry-out order we'd placed via phone. He drove all the way home with the food, only to find that our side order of guacamole and fajita sauces (small guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo) were missing. We order food to-go from Los Cabos a few times a month, and this had never happened before. Disappointed, he unhappily drove back to the restaurant to get the rest of the food for which we'd paid.
Usually when this happens, the missing items are replaced without compensation for the fact that the customer had to drive all the way back to retrieve food that should have already been in the bags. If you're lucky, an employee might actually acknowledge the inconvenience. When this happens, we always cross that restaurant off our list of potential places to eat.
At Los Cabos, my husband politely explained what had happened, and the employee he talked to immediately got a manager. The manager apologized for the inconvenience in a genuine manner, and along with the missing food items, gave my husband a gift certificate for the inconvenience, even though he wasn't asking for anything. It was a textbook example of perfectly done customer service. We were so impressed by the classy way this manager turned a negative into a positive.
My husband and I have worked in the food service industry before, and were so impressed that somebody finally handled this particular situation the way we would personally. We were grateful to have a restaurant manager understand that driving back to the restaurant to retrieve missing items while your family either: 1.) eats without you, or: 2.) sits, watching their food grow cold, is not the dining experience you seek when you order food to-go from a restaurant. Restaurant employees are human and mistakes will happen, but when they do, the customer should be compensated for their inconvenience.
Well done, Los Cabos management. Thank you. We will definitely be back!
Great Mexican Food!. We went on a very busy night. But when is the riverwalk not busy. We had to wait almost an hour to get seated but the great thing about it was they serve margaritas and other drinks right outside. Be aware they are slightly overpriced. And warm chips and salsa right outside as well. After we got seated we had quick and efficient service. The food was great and I am picky about my mexican food. There aren't many light options on the menu but since it's a mexican restraunt I didn't expect there to be. I ended up getting the cancun platter and my hubby got a dish that had shrimp wrapped in bacon.
Set the Standard!. My favorite place for fajitas and margaritas!! Outstanding food and service!
Awesome. I go there every time i go to broken arrow with my family. it's never been bad. the serivis never bad. although there is usually a small 5-10 minute wait. that might just be because i have alot of people when i go
Never had bad service.. This is close to home and I have eaten here countless times. Take a seat on the patio during good weather - some nights they even have bands. They serve good drinks (although a bit pricey) and we have never had a bad meal or bad service.
They are accommodating to specials orders and will happily switch things up for you. I love the Mexican Tacos and any meal they serve with fish. They serve up two types of salsa and one of them is roasted and served warm - LOVE IT!
Great food!! Great service!!!! I love Los cabos
Great Food and Fun Place to Dine. They have a great set up in Broken Arrow. Los Cabos is located on a "lake", more of a pond. But the food was wonderful, Tillapia was awesome. We went outside and had a few drinks and they had a great live band. We enjoyed ourselves. I hope you do the same!
This is what the persistant chanting voice is usually saying right before I head over to Los Cabos. It’s one of those places that leaves me craving for more – there are only a few places that I can say this about: Grand China in Tahlequah
At the time of our visit , there was no wait to be seated. Our server was on point on everything. Very affordable and large portions.
Definitely Recommend !
Verified good . Ate all my food and it was delicious. The side of guacamole was tasty . Shrimp tacos were good . Not up to the Pinnacle "Rubio's fish tacos" but solid . Mexico street tacos were nice as well .
Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing service! If you go, ask for Roxanne! Food came out quickly and the portions were large. This spot will not disappoint!
I went with a group of 4 on a Friday night and it only took 10 minutes give or take to get seated. Our chips and salsa quickly followed. I order the Shredded Beef Burrito and it was amazing the beef had a Smokey flavor to it which was amazing. The rice and beans were great, and the waiter was really helpful.
This place rocks, I am a fan of Tex mex and this is just how I like it. Cheese enchiladas with chilly con carne topping. Cheese dip is perfect. Salsa is good but ask for a little habanero if you want to zip it up a little. Everything I have tried has been delicious from tamales, to enchiladas, to rellenos. Can’t wait to try more off the menu.
Great food n drinks, a little pricey but not bad. Really good service. If U like Mexican food it's overall just pretty darn good. Highly recommend!
Called to try to pick up a tab for my friends from Fayetteville AR, they went above and beyond to try to find them. Amazing staff. So friendly. I hope I have the pleasure of visiting! You deserve more than 5 stars!! Thank you!!
The food is always good no matter what I order. The service was fast and courteous. All in all, a pleasant experience.
