Mickey Malone's Tavern

Decent food not thrilled about my last experience though. Ordered some burgers and a couple pizzas was told about 25 minutes, took closer to an hour. It's a Friday night alright busy maybe, but I was given the Burgers and fries first and waited another 20 for pizzas so the fries were soggy before I even left with my Togo order. Also the golden glove pizza was great last time I had it, white meat chicken with tons of sauce, this time it was almost unidentifiable dark meat tiny pieces. They also charge and extra $1 now to do burnt edge on pizzas.

We happened upon Mickey Malone's when we were in the area for a basketball tournament. Many people were going to the pizza place just down the road from the facility but it looked packed so we drove about 10 minutes to Mickey Malone's. The food was good, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was great. Members of our party had wings, salads, chowder, pizza, a sandwich, and fries. Everything was good. The bartender/server was friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth checking it out if you're in the area.

The place was packed with a crowd that was enjoying their Saturday afternoon. It was loud and the staff was busy. We were able to grab the last table and though it took a while for the waitress to come over, we were happy to people watch. The cocktails were strong and the specials were inexpensive. We had baked scallops and prime rib. The scallops were incredibly fresh and expertly cooked at 13.99. The prime rib was tasty and cooked as ordered but tough. What do you expect at 9.99???
