A beautiful place filled with lovely people. They say that a Canadian lurks behind these walls.

Very good service staff, only the sound insulation is not good.

There are a lot of critical reviews about the hawthorns - yes it's old and not high end but it's ridiculously well placed. It is secure . I have had 2 maintenance issues that were dealt with same day - I am very happy with my room and shared spaces - the imperfections are a good footing for the real world ahead.

Ideal location for lectures, SU and plenty of nearby shoos, pubs etc.

Great location in the middle of the University buildings. Good for a quick bite and a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Very busy at lunch time with queues of students and teachers. Simple but cozy sitting with very chatty atmosphere. The prices are reasonably affordable.

Brilliant student halls, huge rooms with good furniture and fantastic location. Ensuite bathrooms are also big for halls and non ensuite are adequate as well. Most kitchens are a decent size with enough storage, cookers and fridges, depends how many are sharing it. Not split into flats so you can easily make friends with and visit anyone in the halls. Would recommend to anyone.
