Until today I though that this place an eco-warrior veggie or even vegan food place. However their burger, made of meat, was up there with the best of the gourmet burgers I've had over the years. The chunky chips were crispy and even the coleslaw was spiced up a bit. The only slight let down was the size of the ginger beer but I could have ordered another if I needed it. I quite like the communal table idea too, as I was eating alone it didn't feel like I was hogging a table.

Great place for a great beer & more What an excellent place to have great food and beer, especially with great company. (It's also much bigger than I thought!)

Not that busy during lunch but very busy after work times (17:30+), created by Bristol legend, and one Michelin star chef Joe Egerton. Warm and cosy temperature inside the Yurt, picnic table seating, not the most comfortable but provides up to 6 seats (+ baby high chair (they are baby friendly)). They provide for all dietary restrictions. Its an order at the bar style restaurant. The food is of a high standard and prices are ££ but are reasonable for the quality of the dishes. Negatives: Toilets are at the back, so if its rainy, prepare to be showered. The staff mistook our order but promptly and apologetically corrected it. Overall, a great original, friendly restaurant experience with a delicious and accommodating menu.

Oh my goodness what a lovely place. Great steak. Fabulous monkfish. Wonderful beer. And then the cocktails! Add in an incredibly relaxed atmosphere, super friendly staff, and a logburner, and basically I used it as a living room for a couple of evenings during my stay in Bristol. I do hope I get to come back!

Great location Hidden in the courtyard at Bristol Temple Meads train station, this is a real gem. Great food including all tastes. Just had my 3rd Sunday lunch there with my vegan son. Very good. Fun cocktails and range of drinks hot and cold. This is always my first stop when I get off the train

I like the yurt, it's quirky and a bit different. Limited drinks selection but the beers they do offer are very good. Bar area is a little small so queues can be long sometimes. Food is good as is service usually. Prices are comparable for the area.

Great Sunday roast, no sides necessary. We came for a traditional Sunday lunch and left feeling more than content. I could tell the roasted organic sirloin had been absorbing the beef jus because it was so juicy! Their fluffy potatoes were not burnt at all. Plus the Yorkshire pudding had a twist with herbs inside too. I’d ordered the cheesy cauliflower & broccoli but to be fair, we struggled to finish our mains. Portion sizes are large, staff are nice and it’s different dining inside the Mongolian yurts. We’d come back next time we crave a roast!
