Review Stout Irish Pub - Brighton

Tried this place for the first time and it was great! I sat on the back patio and ordered the seared ahi tuna on coconut rice with asparagus. It was perfect! I’m going to go back just for that. The staff was friendly and the patio is perfect for the warm weather coming up. There’s a good sized bar out there with a big selection and they have a big fire pit with seats around it. I was there for lunch so I didn’t get to see the fire. Looks like a good set up though.

Fantastic experience right in the heart of downtown Brighton, Michigan! The new owners Steve and Josh and the rest of their dedicated team are amazing! Great atmosphere; great food and a staff that will go out of their way to make sure your experience is perfect! I would highly recommend if you're ever in the area stop by! You will NOT be disappointed! Cheers!!!

Stouts is a great place to meet family and friends. We love the patio in warm weather and the pub atmosphere inside. The soup is a must have and one of the reasons we make the drive to Brighton for Stouts.

Ordered Shepherds Pie, Big Mistake! The only thing this dish has in common with Shepherds’ Pi’s is there is beef in it and it has some mashed potatoes on it. Essentially it is a beef soup with a dollop of mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese on it. See photo.

The Irish Soda bread is sweeter with raisins. The bread pudding has a citrus hint of orange. The fish and chips were crunchy on the outside, soft after meeting the fork. A wide selection of beverages and food. What a treat to sit in the patio to catch up with others about life. #auric with authentic decor that tributes the strong Irish tradition... Frank Delaney would have become a frequent patron here.

Holy moly this place is amazing! Went here for brunch 12-3 today. The outside patio is beautiful. I got a bloody Mary and it was the best one I had in a long time. It had come cheese and chive rim on it. It was the perfect spiciness. The breakfast burrito was on point. The live entertainment set the vibe for the place. Way to go Dan Meadows! You rock!

Terrible experience! Apparently this place is under new "management" and they are failing Brighton. We got our food before our drinks even arrived. The bartenders are chatting and doing shots with other employees while the customers are waiting 20+ minutes for a draft beer! Service was terrible and the place was a mess. Big thumbs down! Looks like a nightmare to work there! I felt bad for them, no one knew what was going on!!!

Our waitress was wonderful and we enjoyed the food and the band. And the Redbreast and the beer!

I've been coming here for years, and it's a great time, everytime! Whether it's the warm & cozy pub atmosphere indoors or the fun times outside on the patio you can't beat an evening at Stout's! Great selection of beers, fun mixed drinks that are unique and refreshing, and the food is wonderful. Add to that the best entertainment around & great waitstaff & bartenders, you will never be disappointed!!

Stout is the hottest spot in town, with some of the best food and atmosphere you could ask for. They have a great selection of craft beer, wine, and liquor to quench your thirst. Seriously, I cannot talk more highly of this establishment and the fantastic staff!

The food and atmosphere are great here. We had an appetizer and entree. We had appetizer sampler (chicken, bruschetta, spinach & artichoke) which was a nice size for three people. Also ordered corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, and reuben. All three entrees were satisfying and filling. Corned beef and cabbage was huge! If we lived around here I think we’d be back again.

Sunday Mass just ended and the Catholics poured in. The waitress was busy, but she gave great service. The food was wonderful. I had a cool, fresh house salad with Bangers and Mash. Mmmmm!! They make the best soda bread. I always buy a loaf, eat a piece and take the rest home. It’s sooooo good.

We went there with a group of our friends last night to have dinner, drinks, and do a little bit of dancing. We have been going there for years and is one of our faves but my wife and I ordered the fish and chips and we both agreed that it was not good. It came with 2 pieces of fish (used to be 3) and we both got one piece each that seemed to be cod, but we both agreed that the second piece was over battered, square, and had a fishy taste leading us to believe that it was not cod but something else like pollock. We were very disappointed �.

We had a large group of three families and the manager and staff were GREAT about finding us tables together, said it would take half hour but were seated in 10 min. Service was excellent, attentive, juggled three bills and two tables, and our food was great. We will be back for other family gatherings as it is a good halfway point for us to meet! Thank you!!

This was our first time eating here and enjoyed it very much. There was live music that played some great songs and our waitress was very good. Our food arrived in a timely manner and everyone in our group was very satisfied with their meal. We plan to bring our Irish grandma here when she comes to visit. Can’t wait for warmer weather to sit out on the patio. Definitely will be back.

We go there a couple times a year. The food is excellent! The best shepherd’s pie. Also great corned beef & cabbage & fish & chips too! If you’ve never been here you owe it to yourself to go!

Great burger, great service....I highly recommend the Fighting Irish burger!

Kudos for a fantastic New Year's Eve party! Loved the hats, noise makers, champagne toast & pizza. Great DJ, too, with packed dance floor! Even caught a jello shot tossed from servers on swings! It was so much fun and a huge, friendly crowd! Kudos to Dave, Ann & all the friendly servers, who worked their tails off! Thank you!

Had the Cod (some of the best fish I've ever had), it came with a good helping of Fry's and Cole slaw which was delish. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this Pub.

Food was fresh. Veggie burger was bland but my mom enjoyed the flatbread. Service was extremely slow and we were 1 of 4 tables in the whole place.

Was awesome! We were there for an event and the food was great. We needed a bit more so we ordered a meal and that food was great!

The place it self is nice, food is good The service is horrible. That is enough to make me not come back. 2nd bad experience.

I have always loved this place. Chill during the week and very cozy; good music and entertaining on the weekends.
