I come every Saturday for a cuppa and a cake. This little gem of a cafe is a real haven of relaxation! Miska is so friendly and welcoming!

I'm not really sure what it was about this place (maybe the cute old school tables?) or the delicious vegan soup and a crumpet, but I left this place telling the person behind the counter that I really enjoyed my time here. And I had two hours of work calls to listen in on! It just has such a lovely ambiance without being trendy or pretentious. The art on the wall at the moment was stunning as well.

Very nice ham, cheese and mustard toastie. Cosy feel and friendly staff. Well worth popping into. Has a good range of light snacks and sandwiches.

I've been a regular at this cafe for quite a while, and while everyone on the staff is incredibly friendly, there's a special touch that comes on Saturdays when the lady who's always impeccably dressed in vintage attire. Her genuine smile creates a welcoming atmosphere, making every visit a joy. Her warm presence and welcoming add a unique charm to the place. It's a bit of a weekend treat, making Saturdays at the cafe extra special.

Lovely place filled with original art, lovely cards and local pottery all for sale.
Flat white was perfect and we enjoyed a sausage roll served with mustard or chutney. Very tasty!

Portland is a haven of serenity. I had the winter vegetable soup which was incredibly warming, delicious and wholesome. The relaxing background music and the great service created an atmosphere that put me at ease immediately. I could feel and taste the love that goes into running the place and the food and drinks. An amazing afternoon break. Will definitely go back!

This cute and quaint cafe has good wholesome food, decent coffee (served in beautiful modern crockery) and a real nice atmosphere to relax into. The bakes (often cakes and fancy flapjacks) are tasty and locally honemade It hosts local artists work in the tiny little shop, too.

Really good quality coffee, excellent service and really nice atmosphere. I would come here anytime! The toasted sandwiches were delicious and very well priced. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
