Bella Luna Pizzeria

I was not sure what to expect, as I had never been to Bella Luna. They have usually been closed when I've passed by. I went in for takeout. The lovely young ladies working were polite. I ordered beef empanadas and grilled jalapeños. I waited for about 10 minutes for my order, sitting comfortably in the colorful, clean and festive space near the entrance. Someone brought the food over to me. The empanadas were beautiful and cooked perfectly, with a very flavorful filling. I have to admit that the chilies were surprisingly too hot for me, though I did enjoy the heat at first. The rest went to my husband. I am anxious to return to Bella Luna to dine in. They have a chalkboard with many daily specials when you enter- make sure to look for it on the right. I had forgotten I'd read other reviews saying they missed the specials board, and I walked right past it as well. Looking forward to returning to Bella Luna!

We have lived in brigantine for a year and a half and finally had dinner at Bella Luna. Pleasantly surprised! We stayed away because it serves Mexican, pizza and burgers so figured they couldn’t do Mexican right. We had guacamole, grilled jalapeños (so good!), veggie enchiladas (with mole), steak tacos, chicken tortilla soup, and chicken tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be back.

Just had a nice experience dining at Bella Luna. Casual vibe, BYOB, good service, and tasty Mexican appetizers and entrees. Great prices too, compared to some of the other spots on the island that charge triple because they think they can. BYOB makes Bella Luna an inexpensive meal for a large group, ideal for an easy night out. we will be back again soon! Oh and the pizzas are great, and they do delivery now. I dare you to order the 24 inch extra large pizza!! its fun just to wow the kids, because it's HUGE. and honestly my first choice for pizza on the island.
