Went with my friends to this popular restaurant for the first time ever in college. I had good dishes until I had the salmon. The salmon was good and so were the asparagus but the rice was undercooked so I got an offer of tater tots and I’m not much of a fan but it beats undercooked side dishes. I hope this place can improve next time on their quality control.

I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed dining at Barrett’s on Sunday! There were five of us and we were all able to sit at the bar and had awesome food and drinks. Our bartender Rachael was so attentive and made the best drinks! We were amazed because she was so busy but still found time to be social with us! What a great time! Can’t wait to go back! Love the food and the service.

This place never disappoints. We sat at one of the high tops on the bar side. Waiter came over right away and got our drink order. Ordered Titos and ginger ale and it was perfect. Not to much vodka and not watered down. For dinner I ordered the blackened chicken tacos with chipotle ranch sauce. They came out on a toasted tortilla. I have to be honest, I was not a fan. I wish they just left the tortilla soft and didn't toast. I feel like this kind of dried out the chicken a bit. Other than that, the taco was delicious and I highly recommend. I would probably order it again, but ask that they not toast the tortilla. Great experience. Will definitely return .

While the service was great, the portions of their signature steak tips were miniscule. ONLY 4 ice cube-sized pieces w/ 2 sides. ($25.) Very disappointed. No, I did not complain because I was very hungry and ate it anyway. Flavor was good.

Went to Barrett’s for the first time in almost a year after having gone there every Friday for a long long time. Brand new Waitress named Jenna denied an ID that was completely valid, (if it’s not scanning that’s totally OK, we aren’t upset about that). She then proceeded to sit with her friends at a table and didn’t take our order for almost 15 minutes. We stared at her the entire time and she never came over. She was literally doing NOTHING but chatting and sitting at a table. Probably not coming back here again.

The food was good, it came in timely (nice when you're with kids) and the server was friendly. The free kids meal on Wednesday was a bonus as well. Overall, a great experience.

When making a reservation we were told after 9 there would be an ID check, which was perfectly fine since everyone in our group was all over 21. We get there order a bunch of apps, drinks, everything was fine - until our last member of the party wasn't allowed in. This was because they have they're own in house policy not allowing the MASS ID as a proper form of identification unless you have a second form to verify. This would have been good to know prior, the bouncer let in many kids younger then us, and I personally saw a few not even get ID'd before me, and it was past 9. The manager said she would have allowed it, because clearly, our friend was well over 21, (she's in her 50s) but her higher up would not budge.... We as a group felt very unsettled about this, and unfortunately will no longer support this business. We are all in the food service industry, and understand policy, but to see people allowed in without being held to the same standards, was a bitter pill to swallow. We felt very unwelcome after this, and feel as though they wanted to keep the "young hip college vibe" and we - as the only older group that night - were cramping their style....

Good food, fun atmosphere. Prices not bad. Can dine in or out and there is a great arcade inside.
