Passwaters Restaurant

I am so sorry to have to write this review. We were so looking forward to our first dinner here. The service was bad. We waited almost 20 minutes for our cocktails to arrive. The server was in a hurry to take our order. The appetizer arrived…that was good. Then our entrées was to have a salad which never arrived. When I asked, I was told they ran out of salad. But then she asked if we wanted it in a to go box ?? I am confused. We might give it another shot…maybe it was an off night just because it was Valentines weekend. But we were very very disappointed.

The place was recently given a makeover and is very nice and homey. The service was excellent, our waitress (Kaitlyn) was knowledgeable, courteous, and had a very good sense of humor. Tonight was Prime Rib night. Mine was ok, however there were three others with me and they thoroughly enjoyed theirs.

We stopped here for dinner after spending the day at the Delaware shores one Saturday...other reviews seemed favorable and the menu looked pretty good so we decided to check it out. This place is not obvious from the road...it's tucked away in a "semi-private" community and on a golf course. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was nice. There was a wedding reception going on while we were visiting but they were in their own private room so it was not a disturbance to the rest of the customers. The restaurant was only moderately busy, even for it being around 6 pm on a Saturday evening. The service was good as well. There really wasn't anything that detracted from our visit. The grounds are very nice as well; if given the opportunity to dine outside, it would make for a nicer experience.

I call this unique place once a month because I love the good mood that is exist in this place. The personel is extraordianrillyremarkably cordial and qualified. The service is pretty quick. Most important, the food they serve is highly distinguished. I came often and I was always pleased. The payment is fair. I highly suggest this place to all my friends.
