David's Catfish House

Every time I go to David's Catfish in Brewton it's like going to David's Catfish everywhere. They treat you with respect and they cater to your every need making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in to the moment you pay your bill and walk out. David's Catfish is not a seafood place. Don't confuse catfish with seafood. Seafood comes from the Gulf and the ocean catfish come out of ponds. Still you can get some good shrimp and a few other dishes that are Seafood but why would you want to do that when they have the best catfish in the world and the best service and staff I've ever seen. I have never been to David's Catfish and tipped the waitress less than half of the bill. They work hard for what they make and I can promise you you tip them well and when you go back they will remember you and your service will only get better. Thank you to all those in Brewton at David's Catfish who make all of my trips to the restaurant wonderful. It just goes to show they have a good manager and a well-trained staff because of him or her.

Ok so my husband and I decided to try the all you can eat shrimp and catfish as well as appetizers ( fried pickles and okra ). It comes with 2 sides as well. I got the baked sweet potato and coleslaw and Shawn got Coleslaw and grits. You didn't have to wait long for your food at all. As soon as you got your drinks here comes Charity right back with your coleslaw and after 2 bites here she comes with the appetizers. You take and eat a few of those and here comes your food. Charity was amazing. Always came to check on us making sure we didn't need anything. Others were walking around most likely owners or managers making sure you have everything. The next time we go back and we definitely will we want Charity or her daughter Trinity. Charity deserves a raise. She rocked it . Thank you to all the staff for taking care of us.

Everyone we see one of these..we stop! Excellent catfish whole or fillet.. they're both do well seasoned, meaty and made hot to order. I have to give a special shout-out for their coleslaw and my husband just raves over there seafood platter. The place always has a nice homey vibe feels like you're sitting at your granddaddy's table eating his catch of the Day! I certainly recommend that you swing by whenever you see one of their signs it's a good value meal !

We were in the area and wanted to try a local establishment. The staff was attentive and we were never without a drink. The sweet tea was great and my Corona was cold and crisp as one could ask for. That being said the catfish plate and deep fried pickles were nothing to brag about (pickles were way over battered, catfish was mushy, and hush puppies could of been used for golf). I will try a different restaurant if in the area again.
