Panino Italian Gourmet Deli

I’m baffled how this place was rated so well. We ordered a variety of food so I can’t even blame it on what we ordered. We got a chef salad, Hercules sandwich, small macaroni salad, apple turnover and side of meatballs. I’m convinced none of the reviewers have ever had good food before lol. Chef salad - overcooked hard boiled eggs, no fresh lettuce with no other veggies. Sandwich - the chicken seemed old and had zero salt with minimal prosciutto and provolone and definitely no fresh tomatoes or lettuce. Meatballs - seemed like they were mostly bread crumbs and had no flavor. Macaroni salad was mostly thick Mayo and pepper. Apple turnover had minimal filling and was super dry. Such a disappointment.

I am proud to be a panino regular! The absolute best deli I’ve ever been to! I wish I had known about this place years ago. Going in and seeing Rosa reminds me of when I visited my Nonna. Everything is so delicious! Premium, imported, fresh. The sandwiches, chicken cutlets, mozzarell, pasta, baked goodies. Everything is great! The sausage and peppers are the best you will ever have. The King Umberto is a personal fave and Rosa’s sauce is divine. Lots of products to shop as well like the real San marzano sauce from Italy. Everything is made with love. They are a wonderful family. Rosa, her husband, and son Dan are so nice. They treat you like family. I can’t recommend highly enough! Go and see for yourself! I could literally eat here everyday.

I’m writing this as my sausage and peppers hero is still hot (half eaten). This is THE best Italian deli I’ve ever been to. Every time I’m here, I wind up buying $100 in authentic Italian groceries and olive oil. If you want the most delicious homemade food, (aside from being in Italy, which I have been) don’t pass this place up. Panini’s gets 10 stars in my book.

This establishment is the best.my husband and I have wanted to try it.Today we did .I had the "Pavarotti "sandwich and it blew me away.Truly with its old world charm straight down to the older woman with her heavy Italian accent ..just love her ...this place is the real deal.i love its a family owned business and it reflects in the ingredients.,freshness...even the bread was exceptional. I cannot understand who wrote a negative review ..folks this is not SUBWAY...this establishment is the real deal .
