A quaint, charming restaurant with delicious food! Hubby had fish and chips, couldn't finish it. I had some of the best shrimp scampi ever. The clam chowder was fabulous

My husband and I stumbled across Brewster Inn and Chowder House while staying at the Captain Freedman in 1994 when he proposed. The chowder is the best we've ever had and worth making the trip from Maryland every year since.

This was a little gem found today. The chowder was a 10, the turkey club was perfectly portioned. It is definitely a step back in time- like going to “Grandma’s house” for lunch. We definitely enjoyed it, and will be going back!
Excellent food in a very old Inn with a small dining room. It's a local secret with the food. It also has an attached barn that in the summer season is called The Woodshed that packs them in every night with live entertainment.
