Review The Shack - Brevard County

Nice course, heavy water presence on the front, clearer on the back but still narrow. People complained about the greens but they look like they're coming in nicely. Sone are definitely recovering but others look perfect. It's an ok routing and would certainly play again.

The nicest course I've played in Brevard county. So well kept and beautiful scenery. Very nice range on a lake, had an amazing time.

Nice course. I was a bit upset as the course was water logged and they were overwhelmed with a scramble on the day I played there. Paid sub $40 per person for the round and it is definitely a course I would recommend. I think I paid $1 for a momento golf ball cheapest one in my life. If you are thinking about playing here you need to just turn up. Water is not really in play in my opinion. Most of the holes are straight forward and just play what you see. I will be back and bring my friends and family.

Very nice course I was visiting from Missouri and was told I should go play there. The staff was awesome and the course was very nice and well taken care of. When I come back down I'll will be back to play again

Beautiful course, great staff. Greens are not the best but the fairways and bunkers were good. This is a tourist area, so the biggest thing for me was I had to rent clubs and they were probably 20 year old and rough. I was expecting a nicer set to have to pay to rent honestly. I would definitely go back if I had my clubs with me though

Played the course today and it’s a great layout. So many different holes and looks off the tees. Lots of water which makes it scenic as you see alligators and wildlife. Greens are coming around after being aerated it looks like a few weeks ago. Fairways are in really good shape. Super friendly staff as well as the cart girl as that was a surprise to have one on a week day morning. It’s a great course and for the price it’s well worth the money.

The course is improving every time I visit. The greens were in good shape. The service - front desk, starter, and the cheerful helpful bartender who fixed me a nice bag with ice and water - was very good! The wildlife on this course is amazing, birds, gators, turtles, and butterflies. Update: Taco Tuesday Incredible beef and chicken tacos and margaritas were the best. We have 18 to24 golfers. They have everything ready. Give us shotgun start and staff is wonderful. Lounge takes care of us after a round. Cart girls make great bloody Mary's.

The course was in good shape and the layout is very fun to play. Water on almost every hole made it fun and the greens were real good too. The staff was amazing from the proshop, the starter, the bar to the cart girl. The only reason i dont give it 5 stars is that the rentals are really bad, will come back for sure but will travel with my clubs next time.

This used to be a 365 acre orange grove. I should know I lived there when I went to MI High School. Knowing the land, the old drainage ditches and the small lake where Mom would occasionally see a gator (we had numerous in the ditches along with rattlesnake, moccasin and God knows what else). These folks have done a great job keeping a golf course going. This is an area of Merritt Island that in the late 70's was tough to live in (water well including Sulfur water! Neat!) Hats off to them.

The fairways and greens were kept very well. GPS screens with every cart, probably one of the top 5 courses in Brevard.

This is absolutely my favorite course. Challenging yet rewarding and very well maintained. The staff is super friendly and always accommodating. They’ve hosted several tournaments for us with incredible support from the management team (specifically Eric). Highly recommend!!

Course was in very good shape, pace of play was great, after the round we sat to get food but couldn't get service so we left.

Walk in for lunch no one helped me they just sit at the bar and it's happened multiple times now

Incredible food, generous portions & the chef and staff, warm and welcoming...a definate family & fun vibe. I'll be back for sure!

The salmon was so delicious! The portions are huge!

You have to try the special dinners on the weekends for sure!!
