I’ve definitely had better kolaches than these but they weren’t too bad. Bread was a little too doughy for my taste. Restrooms were clean, store was clean, service was fast and friendly. Next time I come I’d like to try something sweet.

Perfect spot for kolaches on the go. I wish it were closer to Houston. The cheese Danish style pastry tastes just like a New York cheesecake. The signature cinnamon roll pastry was awesome as well. They also had local honey with different pollen types. Wanna quick bite for something besides pastries? They have you covered with Turkey wraps! AND THE BUTTERMILK PIE? Fahgetaboutit!!!

My twice-monthly trip to Austin has me driving by twice each trip. This time I was coming home from a celebration weekend, not wanting it to stop, so I thought I'd stop and see what kind of sweet treats I could find. My visit was late afternoon on a Sunday, so pickings were understandably slim, but I was able to get a 6pk of my fave danishes. There were plenty of other options, but my sweet tooth was kinda specific this trip. They had a couple different kinds of giant, fluffy, sticky, gooey cinnamon rolls that looked fantastic, and there were some danishes with some fancy seasonal flavors that looked enticing. I ended up with the classics, though - cheese, cherry, and lemon. They are perfectly sweet, moist and delicious, and I am certain I will be back again on one of my future trips. 6pk of danishes was $9 and some change. For fresh and yummy treats like that it was absolutely worth the stop! It wasn't too busy while I was there. Only a few minutes of waiting in line. The storefront was clean and tidy. The staff I spoke with were pleasant. It was a good visit and I'd definitely recommend a stop by to see what you can find! (Though, maybe try a bit earlier in the day. I bet they have some amazing morning options!)

Stopped by to get gas. It's spacious and plenty of room for an RV. We went in and got pecan coffee and a variety of sweets. The carrot cake was great but the cookies were pretty dry. The place was clean inside and the bathrooms were as well. It's also next to taco bell and across the street from mcdonalds and pizza hut. It's super easy to get to right off the interstate. Easy on and off :)

Great kolaches, just wish there were more to buy. I got a pre packaged set of 6 sausage and cheese kolaches, but the case was almost empty at 5:30 p.m. on a Thursday.

I came to the connected gas station to use the restroom and I was caught by the great smell coming from the Bakery. I went with a TX staple, sausage & cheese kolache, and I wasn't disappointed. A little too much bread on the kolache for me but it was soft and tasty. The lady working the counter was very nice and friendly. I will come back when I am in the area.

I had the hatch pepper sausage klohasniky and cream cheese kolache and I highly recommend both. The bread of the kolache is 👌
