Volare Italian Restaurant

We loved the atmosphere here. The service was superb and our waiter was great to explain everything to us when we asked. The food was excellent! I can be picky about my lasagna and when I tried the one my wife ate, I loved it. The chicken Alfredo was very tasty, as well as everything else. I would definitely recommend this place if you're craving some Italian dishes.

After years of going to this restaurant, the past several visits haven’t been near as good. I wanted to give them the benefit of a bad night but we have been back several times since and the experience was consistently a disappointment.They won’t let you make substitutions anymore or take tomato’s off your salad. This was not always the case. They stated the reason was because they were busy, but the restaurant was only half full. I am sad to see this because they were our favorite place when in Brenham for the Antique Show.

We were in Brenham for the weekend and decided to eat dinner here. Excellent choice. I had my favorite dish, chicken Marsala and my husband had the spaghetti Bolognese, both were delicious. We had calamari and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. Also very good. Would definitely recommend. The place itself is unique in that it is a converted house. A plus were the bathrooms that were very clean and smelled amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Volare is hands down my favorite Italian food place ever. My wife and I found this little gym about 10 or 11 years ago on our annual wildflower trip. This is now our golden standard for what Italian food should be. This is truly a gym and we're fine especially in a rural town like brenham. We always make it a point to eat here when we're anywhere near. We've been down here for over a decade and the quality has never taken a hit. At all. I've never had a bad dish and the tiramisu is to die for. In fact volare created the tradition in our family of judging an Italian food restaurant by their tiramisu. Any place we go we reserve judgment until we've tried their tiramisu because the lair has the best I've ever had and I have literally had it in Italy.

We ordered appetizers, main course, wine and tea, And both had different desserts. The meal was very well prepared, perfect temperature, and uniquely flavored. The staff was helpful but did not get in our way or interrupt our conversation. This is a very comfortable come as you are but higher-end restaurant. You will not be disappointed and I continue to look forward to my next visit.

More effort put into the atmosphere than the service and food quality. Everything tasted microwaved. I ordered the most simple thing i could find on the menu and the stuffed pasta came out still cold inside. It took over an hour to get our food and the servers were disgruntled. I won’t be back. I went to this place a few years ago and it was an entirely different experience. Seems the quality of everything has gone down.
