The food was excellent. Great atmosphere. We had the lobster roll which was packed with lobster and absolutely delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

I can wrap this review up in just a few words but , I can't. If you have followed any of my reviews, you will clearly be chomping at the bit to try this GEM . I can let you know I have rated many eateries and , the new England house has ranked in my top 3 . Well done to this wonderful Vermont restaurant . My wife and I have traveled to many states here in the USA . We dine quite a bit in all areas and types of cuisine. From the time you walk in you are taken to a place where you just know you can relax , let your stress go . I'm sure y'all are saying I wish this man would just get to the meat and vegetables about this place . Well, ok . Here is some of the highlights that will hopefully grab your attention and , have you sitting at one of there tables . I did ask if it would be OK to mention names and , was told , that would be great . So here we go . Curt and Selma ( the owners ) have made the place someplace we will return to . Daelyn our waitress deserves a special shout out . We started off with the most gracious greeting from Selma . After we were seated in a cozy table for two , we had this lovely young lady ( Daelyn ) with such a bubbly personality come up and gave to us the best tasting water . We where told that every item on this menu is made from scratch by ( CURT ) . My wife decided to order the chicken cheese sandwich ( on homemade rolls ) fries ( extra crispy ) and pesto . I went another route . Bacon Broccoli chicken Alfredo. I can definitely give you a big YES on my chose . If the homemade Alfredo doesn't do it for you . Try the homemade French onion soup ... oh my . The chicken sandwich I was advised was AWESOME . We did choose to order desert ... wow . Creme bruelet. I do recommend trying the desert . Prices are very reasonable and fair . Building is so quaint and comfortable . A must when you are in the area .eat well traveler's. Be kind , and , enjoy .

Phenomenal food, excellent drink selection. We love Manhattans and their Maple Manhattan was perfect. Selma was amazing to us and her husband was the chef. Everything was made in house and cooked to perfection. Kids burgers, my scallops, my husband's lobster roll, all perfect. Highly recommend, especially after a great day of skiing.

Delicious food with a full bar and very nice staff. Outdoor seating with some background music and we were able to bring our friendly dog with us. We had the lobster roll and fish and chips. They were great about dietary restrictions.

What a nice and cozy restaurant. Coming from Connecticut and on our way up to Hinsdale NH. I saw this online. They had a special mothers day menu, but still had a nice selection to choose from. Food was hot and prompt, server was attentive. All in all a nice dinner. Glad we stopped by.

Really excellent food in a charming, farmhouse environment. The fish from the fish n’ chips was possibly the best I’ve ever had - delicious coating, so crisp! My husband loved his shrimp with pasta. My daughter’s mac and cheese was amazing - she’s five and it was too sophisticated for her, so I got to eat it! The kids menu had better choices than most restaurants I’ve been to. I really can’t think of a better one. We ate on a covered porch overlooking woods and old houses. I’d give five stars except the wedge salad was just OK (more bacon, perhaps?), the fries didn’t have much flavor, and the service was pretty slow. But I would not hesitate to eat there again. The mussels and pulled pork looked amazing.
