Jeffrey's Sports Grill

Some friends took us here last night. The food was pretty good and their nachos are huge! I enjoyed their lemon pepper wings though I wasn't too impressed with the jerk wings. The fried shrimp was also good and so were the ribs but the steak was a bit fatty.. I'd definitely return especially if it's game day because they have some pretty big screens for their projectors.

Food is good, and service is usually great for the most part. The acoustics of the place are crazy though, it gets very loud even when not crowded, which can be off-putting. Editing after visiting several more times, to mention a few more items, like their delicious potato skins, and GIGANTIC house-made mozzarella sticks which I just had, and which are fantastic.

Cool little spot! I am glad that we stopped in here. We were seated immediately and had drinks within a minute. I wish I had gotten our waiters name because that was some of the best service I've had lately. We had a few servings of mozzarella sticks for the table and loved them. They had a great selection of drinks too. We will be back.

Arrived for an after-concert snack 20 minutes before posted closing time, and the wait staff did not bat an eye. All of the other Friday night patrons were outside on the large patio, so we had the dining room to ourselves, and one waiter took our order quickly and efficiently. I had a decent gumbo with an excellent fish dip appetizer and my wife loaded potato skins. The couple with us said they liked everything they had tried here, so we'll give it a try for lunch or dinner sometime. Great first impression!

I rarely write reviews, but my first trip to Jeffrey’s was rough. 1. Our server was extremely sweet and kind. She was new and definitely tried to make us happy. 2. It took over and hour and fifteen minutes before we got our food, and even then some of it was wrong. The food itself was good, not great. Our server said they don’t utilize an electronic ticket system which slows everything down. This was miserable waiting with three kids, and every time we thought about going elsewhere, we were promised food; so we ended up waiting it out. We were told there’s no general manager, just an owner, so there was nobody to speak to. The manager on duty said nothing to us, which was the most unprofessional thing. 3. The men’s bathroom was disgusting. I took my son into the bathroom and we could barely get into the stalls without stepping in “stuff.” It genuinely felt like a health hazard. Jeffrey’s needs help. If they don’t get it together, they won’t last.
