We were just there last week and pleasantly surprised that the park was full of greenery trees and flowers everywhere giving us lots of shade from the heat. It was busy not overcrowded like the Disney world. This park was better than Disney. We could relax and enjoy the rides. Just a different atmosphere. Their rides esp the water rides were awesome! So impressed with how friendly staff and people were to us. It made our trip so worth while. Thank you for the hospitality!

Christian based family theme park. We love going here and have season tickets. They have 4 big roller coasters, several smaller ones, 5 water rides, and 2 large kid play areas. There are shows at no extra cost, like musicals. The staff is super polite and always helpful. Can't say enough

Wow! This place was so much fun. We arrived at 9 (aim to arrive before then as the road to get there was backed up; we parked in free parking. They have free shuttles, but we didn't know that until we walked 1/4 mile to the entrance). It has many unique rides for all ages and thrill levels. Some of the coasters rivaled Six Flags. It is set in the 1880's and the employees dress the part. They were all very friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful, the buildings and grounds were designed so perfectly to fit the era, there are demonstrations and performances related to the era and theme, and the shops there have many cool gifts and items. You could easily spend an entire day there. I have been to Disneyland dozens of times, Six Flags Magic Mountain 15 times, Knott's Berry Farm, and several other amusement parks. Silver Dollar City holds it own with the best of them. It may be smaller, but there is a lot to do.

Our first time here. We were impressed with the family friendly atmosphere and the amazing Christmas lights. Our teenagers' expectations of the rides were far exceeded. They even asked to come again in the future. The layout of the park takes a bit of getting used to. In the large crowd (I heard there was record attendance on the day we were there, 12/30/21), I don't feel like we were able to see everything and not being familiar with the layout hurt us. The lines for dining were excessive but I'm not sure if that is normal. The teens had the express passes and felt like they were able to enjoy the experiences. My husband and I just took in the sights and enjoyed taking in things slowly. The show, Home for the Holidays was excellent. Again, when you can impress everyone in the group including teens, you are doing it right. The food at the buffet was not good, bland and heavy, but I have no way of knowing if that's normal or a result of large crowds and short staffing. I would be willing to try again. Overall, I highly recommend Silver Dollar City for the excellent family experiences.

Over 6.5 million Christmas lights, it looks like pure Christmas magic! The whole family enjoyed it especially all the rides and the 20-minute train ride. We did have to wait about 1.5 hours to ride the train and to get on was like letting sheep out, there was no rhyme or reason and people cut you in line. They should have a better system for this because my parents are disabled and they were getting cut and almost did not get a seat on the train after standing for far too long in that line. We only went for 3 hours but if you pay all of that money, make it a whole day thing and get your money’s worth. The lines were way too long, I felt like I was at Disney World but without the fast passes. For a family of 4, 2 kids and 2 adults, it was about $300 for 3 hours and most of that time was spent split up and waiting for the train and waiting for the roller coaster rides. Since it was right after Christmas, all of their Christmas items in the gift shops were 75% off but finding your way around the place was a nightmare and the workers in the shops were not helpful. We spent so much time trying to find something that was located in the giftshop and none of the three workers we asked, told us it was located there. Too many slopes too, hard to get around if you’re disabled or older. Good thing it was not snowing or icy outside because it seemed it would be difficult to get around on the uneven ground.

Complete waist of money! Only 3 roller coasters were going. (Outlaw, fire in the hole and thunder). Which my daughter only wanted to go to ride time machine. The only rides that were open were the kiddie rides. I kept asking when the rides would open. One employee said the rides were closed cause weather restrictions, another said mechanical issues. Another one said they were short staff. The weather was over 43 so they should of been going according to their website. Half the shows were not showing. A lot of the food carts were closed. It looks like the don’t have enough staff to run the place. The employees did not look happy to be there. Except a dark hair girl in the ball pit area she was GREAT. She was showing my niece how to use the guns and helped her fill her bag. Complete waste of $400

Silver dollar city is a great place to go!! The rides and attractions are second to none. The park has a rich history and the sights and sounds are always spectacular. There are things to do for the whole family no matter what you enjoy doing! Arts and crafts, roller coasters, food and homemade goods and entertaining shows. Marvel Cave is an amazing site inside the park and is originally why Silver Dollar City exists so be sure to take a tour! All in all this is a wonderful place to visit and you won't be disappointed!

We enjoyed this amusement park so much we purchased year round passes for our family. Great atmosphere! Caring employees! Awesome Christian music around the park and the best Christmas light display we have ever seen! Better than any place in Orlando and we just spent a week there!
