I’ve heard these are the best burgers in Branson, and I believe it. Very good burgers, fries (though not fresh or hand cut) and shakes. My daughter got the foot long for dog which looked very good and husband got onion rings which again were very good. They’ve recently changed buildings which means more seating inside but it still gets busy so expect a bit of a wait. Cash only, but they do have an atm inside.
Had heard good things about Billy Bob’s so we decided to give it a try. Place was slammed when we came in, but they got us seated quickly. Everyone was very friendly and our orders were taken in a timely manor. Food was good when it came. Good old fashioned burger and the chicken strips were hot, fresh, and crispy. Fries needed a little salt, but that was fixable. Worth the try.
I LOVE love LOVE this place! Has always been the best burger place in the area for me for the past 10 years. But I just visited them in the new location, and I was sad to say it just wasn’t the same. Still great friendly staff, still super busy, still got enough food to fill me up....but fries weren’t as awesome as they usually are and burger was just okay. Hopefully it’s just been a long holiday week and our next visit back will be back up to their usual 5.
The BEST food we’ve had in Branson!! The staff was super friendly and fast, the restaurant was clean, and the food was amazing!! Definitely try the cheeseburger and onion rings with a chocolate malt, it is divine!
Fantastic food at a great prices! Loved the friendly family atmosphere. Went there while in Branson for some local flavor and was extremely pleased with the service and the visit with Billy Bob himself.
Amazing food. Best place we ate on our trip to Branson. Simple menu, delicious food, soft serve ice cream. No complaints. We will eat here again before we leave. They don't take cards though, only cash.
Great place. Burgers are good, fried pies are yummy! Staff is always friendly, very kid friendly. Biggest downfall - they only accept cash and check. It's a pretty small place, but we've never had trouble getting in.
Best burger in Branson! Get the double cheeseburger. Nice diner feel inside and super friendly staff! I love my hamburgers and this one is at the top of my list.
Can't go wrong with a good ol' cheeseburger and fries basket. You'll get a nice thick patty with the trimmings on a toasted bun. I also had a chocolate peanut butter malt that was quite tasty.
Billy Bob's is good, but I wasn't really blown away by it. Real ground-beef patties and delicious shakes and malts make this place what it is. The fries, onion rings, and hot dogs are ok, but it's expensive for what you're actually getting. Family-run joint where service comes with a smile.
Great place to grab a burger. Cooked fresh right in front of you. They use fresh meat, no frozen hickey pucks used here. Place us a little on the small side but gives it that great diner atmosphere. Staff is friendly and the food is great!
Great little '50's style diner. Good friendly service. We both had cheeseburgers with fries that were big and delicious. Amazing peach cobbler and vanilla malts!
We came here for a nice, simple, burger and fries. We were not disappointed. The burger was very good. The service was excellent, but the meal did take a while, so don't come when you're in a hurry, or order ahead by phone. They had one older gentleman working the grill, whether the place was empty or packed. I think that's part of the charm of the place. It's a family run business. It was mid-summer and it seemed like the air conditioner in this small place couldn't keep the place cool as hard as the grill was working. Just know that going in. Overall, a very nice, unpretentious little diner we would visit again any time!
The food and service were great. However the waiter/waitress is expected to share tips (you are asked to leave tip in jar at register not at the table). We would rather have given the tip to the great waitress who served us personally!

Best Diner Food Around. Stopped in for a quick bite before heading off to the Titantic Museum. It was the perfect choice. We were in and out quickly. The entire staff was super friendly. I had the Frito pie (chili over corn chips and toppped with onions an cheese) and a side of fries. Really, really good! My husband declared his hamburger was the best hamburger he had ever eaten. Unless you are simply starving, stick with the single burger - it's huge. Make sure you have a shake or a malt too.

Best burgers ever!!. The burgers are the best I've ever had! It's a must stop whenever we visit Branson. One half pounder is a meal in itself. Of course, you must try a shake or a malt too. Lots of flavors and super yummy.

Good food, not so good service. ate here july 20th during lunch with my family there was a small wait, not a problem we eat here every so often when we come down from nixa. there were 3 waitresses a young girl, a middle aged women and an old lady. the middle aged lady was very rude to us and we even heard her telling the young girl about how another table was 'pissing' her off making her mad because they didnt get seated and served before a table that walked in after them. my family and I even watched thatfamily get up and walk out. a good part about billybobs is atleast you dont have one set waitress so everyone helpsyou. the young girl talked us into trying some dessert it was amazing! we love the burgers and blts here. aside from that day we always have wonderful service, it was obvious most of the family wasnt there that day, and easy to tell who was family out of the bunch yesterday. family always cares the most about taking care of the customers. dont get me wrong everyother visit the service was wonderful and the food is never not good! i always send people here and still will. dont miss out on burgers fries shakes and fried pies!
Gotta LUV it in Branson!. Got to love this down home throwback to 1960's dining! Foot longs with chili, big burgers pressed down with weighted irons, milkshakes, fries......Originally when traveling to Branson ate at the old location but the new place is just as great. They store the meat in a 1930's freezer behind the grill and all the locals love this place. Well worth the visit and priced just right. One time I really forgot my wallet and they just laughed and said no problem. I returned later and paid and he said "I knew you would be back". Gotta love this service.

Gotta try it!. Billy Bob's might be hard to find (even though it is on the main strip), but it is certainly worth it. It's a little old tiny place, but very clean. Burgers were outstanding and I rate it in my top 3. Nothing wrong with them at all -- great flavor, juicy, soft bun, tasty cheese, perfectly cooked. Also great crinkle-cut fries. Super service. Yumm!
As far as the hard-to-find comment... it is right next to Rib Crib and is connected to a convenience store. It is on the right if you are headed west.

Only burger place we've found in Branson that makes ginormous REAL MEAT hamburgers. Reasonable prices, huge servings, amazing shakes! It's on the main strip but easily overlooked because it is connected to a convenience store. Next to Rib Crib.
Aaron. The best burger I've had to date. Well cooked, very juicy & a great value. The service was excellent. We had a party of 10 (11 with the baby) & everyone was happy with their meal. Loved the hometown appeal. Will definitely eat here the next time I'm in town.

Service was friendly, hamburgers are HUGE (don't order a double unless you're really hungry) and tasty, onion rings look hand-battered and are yummy, chili-cheese foot long dog was awesome. Overall one of the best food experiences in Branson.

Great food and atmosphere!. I read about Billy Bob Dairy Land on Urbanspoon and decided to try it. Took my son and granddaughter and it was a big hit with both. The burgers are big, juicy and homestyle, watched them cooking at the griddle. I got the hotdog, okay but was wishing I had ordered the burger! Have already recommended this to a friend who also loved it, will be back!
Best Burgers. The burgers were great, a little pricey, for 4 burgers, 1 order of fries, 1 order of onion rings and 4 shakes it was over 50.00. not a cheap eat like we thought it would be, but it is good.

The cheeseburgers are huge, and tast great, the footlong chili cheese dogs are awesome as well. Prices are reasonable, just a great place to eat.

When you walk in you feel like your back in time. Like in a movie with a small diner and girls in roller skates serving milkshakes . The best part is the good really is good. Hands down they have one of the best burgers and shakes in Branson . Be prepared to wait for a seat they r busy
Billy Bob's Dairy Land is the best meal we had during our stay in Branson. The cheeseburger was amazing. We have marked this as a place we will eat at every time we're in Branson. Great friendly family atmosphere. Very affordable about the same price as fast food. Highly recommend!
Best burgers! Love 'em with grilled onions. Super chicken sandwich too. Leave room for a fried pie or shake. Friendly staff who treat us right.
Great Place. A little expensive, but great service and good quality food. Parking is an issue because their building is shared with a gas station and another business.

Wow, this burger was among the best I've ever had at a restaurant! Fresh delicious patty, quite big, nicely seasoned, on a perfectly toasted roll. The krinkle fries were acceptable, just not up to the outstanding quality of the burger on the day I ate there. That's okay though, because I saved room for a yummy fried pie. I'd only had the Hostess variety before my trip to Branson, so this was an unexpectedly delightful treat - warm flakey crust, sweet fruity filling, and not too big, so I only had a tiny bit of guilt for eating a decadent dessert. :)
We found this place not long ago trying to find something different. It was awesome. Cheese burgers were like stepping back to simpler times when the weekends were made for backyard bar b ques and homemade ice cream. Simply lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Good Burger!. With so many chain restaurants in Branson, we try to check out the less traveled and this was a great find. The burgers are fresh and taste great. Also have had the pork tenderloin sandwich which was also good. Very nice, simple, good burger joint. The only thing is that they close for the winter season, so we missed visiting them in January.
It’s a good old fashion burger and shake place. Food is good and prices are reasonable. Great for the whole family. The staff are friendly and works very well together. There’s lots of free around the building and it is located right off the main road.
Yummy!! It's definitely a gem! Great environment, great service, and most of all, great food. Our servers were great... I went to order a double cheeseburger, and our server advised each party is a half a pound of beef. I ended up ordering a cheese burger and fries. Kid's got chicken fingers, fries, and shakes... which were all super yummy, too. I loved lunch here, can get busy, but just adds to the charm!
This place is the place to eat if you only eat out once while in area or want a dessert! I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our whole experience here twice. The food was hot and cooked just right--cooks are wonderful!! The atmosphere/decor is awesome if you like the old soda shop feel. Our waitress (I hate I forgot her name!) was very sweet, gave her opinion, took her time with us even though they were slammed. Rarity these days but the owners were personable and out on the front lines(serving, running cash register, etc).

Food was really good. I got a tenderloin and tater tots. Wife got hamburger and fries. Her bun she ask for no butter and untoasted, but it came out buttered and toasted. Once that was fixed she said it was great. They were busy, had a softball team eating, or most of one, lol. Had to wait in a little area, then they forgot us for a bit, others came in when they had tables cleaned and were waited on. They were training new people as well. I know things can get confusing like that. People were very friendly and helpful. We will be back, hopefully when no baseball team is there.
This is the first time in Branson Missouri. We stop here at Billy Bob's Dairyland. Man!!!, the size of their burgers will put any burger place to sham. This place is just damn good. I recommend this place to anyone who wants great food. Also, the staff is awsome. Thanks guys
This is a go-to spot in Branson if you want a great burger and a tasty cherry limeade. If you order anything else besides their mammoth burgers, you're doing it wrong. The blackberry cobbler is tasty. However, I don't recommend the fried pies, they're good but don't measure up to fried pies I've had elsewhere. Cards aren't accepted here, its cash or check only.
Their burgers were so so good and the fried pie was one of the best things I've ever eaten! Definitely recommend this place. Customer service was great as well.
This place has great food, atmosphere and friendly staff!! Burgers were old fashioned, flavorful, chili cheese dogs very good, fried pies with ice cream were so good! We came back twice for the fried pies while visiting Branson!! Go check this place out, highly recommended
