I've been meaning to leave this review for over several months. Back in 2020, my son's wedding was postponed 13 days prior to the original date due to COVID. When we finally were able to reschedule (after postponing twice) for New Year's Day, 2022, we were so excited! All vendors had been secured with the catering to be provided by the venue. Unfortunately, during COVID, the venue was not able to keep the catering portion of their business open. We were left without a caterer just two months before the wedding. In searching for a caterer for the rehearsal dinner on New Year's Eve, I contacted Laura Fowler Goss, owner of the Filling Fork. Laura was fantastic! She worked with us to provide a wonderfully tasty and beautifully presented meal! While I can't speak for the bride's parents in working with her for the actual wedding, I can tell you the food was delicious that night too! I would use her again and again and would highly recommend her! She really came through for us on the weekend of the New Year!
The Filling Fork features tasty food that you can eat in or take out. It is also the storefront for a catering business. The food is locally sourced, literally farm to market fresh. We had chicken salad sandwiches on delicious fresh multigrain bread. The portions were very generous and the price moderate so an excellent value. The front case has several selections for different size family portions to take home and heat up. There was also some produce.
As a local business owner, I was looking to cater in a lunch to celebrate the holidays with our team and contacted The Filling Fork. The food choices were so unique and so delicious! The presentation of the platters were beautiful and everyone raved that it was the BEST meal we have had as an office team together. I highly recommend their charcuterie board as a must for any order, too! Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you! Laura and her staff caterered the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. Not only was the food delicious, but the presentation was beautiful. They were so easy to work with, friendly and attentive. I highly recommend them...they are top-notch and caring professionals.
Laura and her team are amazing! They always go a step above, I love working with them because when it comes to the catering I don't need to worry about it, I know it will be handled, look amazing and taste even better than it looks. I highly recommend for all of your catering needs!
It was great! John had a Saled and fresh fruit. I had slaw dog and broccoli salad. Very good food! The lady that waited on us was very nice and informative. We will be back. Non profit organization! Helps kids with cooking and more!
The filling fork catered my wedding on December 8 of 2018. They are so professional, so diligent, and they treat the event as if it’s their own! The food was on point, the dessert bars were a hit, and the willingness to do anything to make the event perfect was awesome! You are making a mistake if you do not use this company to cater your event! The filling fork was one of the best decisions that we made for a perfect wedding! And I will definitely be using them in the future for other events! I can’t say enough good things about this catering company, thank you so much for all that you did!

Laura and her team has catered a couple of events for us and has "hit the ball out of the park" each time. Her staff is personable and very attentive to detail, helping to make the event as seamless as possible. At our most recent event, a building dedication ceremony, Laura noticed a delay in the delivery of floral arrangements and jumped right in to remedy the situation. In short, The Filling Fork/Laura Fowler-Goss will always be the local caterer recommended by me.
