Always delicious food, friendly staff, and great nostalgic atmosphere. I love it when the trains pass so close by!

Exceptional food, very reasonable prices! Be sure to visit the adjoining railroad museum. Branchville, SC is the site of the world's oldest railroad junction!

The food and the services at train speed 👍✔️

Normally I don't write reviews, however very disappointed after a 1 hour drive. Loved the atmosphere BUT: Shrimp and grits: 2 out of 10, tomato soup with a few shrimp over grits - no seasoning. Fried Grouper/Shrimp Special: Shrimp average, grouper below average - bland, very strong fish flavor. Broiled Salmon Special - average. Hopefully, we went on an off-night.

Great little hide away. Ordered off the menu, but the specials looked awesome too

Grouper and oysters were delicious

Good food and very nice quick waitress. Fried shrimp and fried oysters were really great, not heavy. Butter and cream new potatoes and garlic cheese mashed potatoes very tasty. Would recommend.

Small town BIG FLAVOR. One of the very best place I have ate at. Super service and the big slice of chocolate cake has no equal. Going back for more!

I absolutely love this restaurant. It's in a small town named Branchville in South Carolina, very easy to miss driving down HWY 21. The food is amazing, everything down to the biscuits. I had the pork tenderloin AMAZING !!!

Worth the trip.. Located in beautiful downtown Branchville SC, the Eatery is a small town treasure, The service is great, the food excellent and the train motif very appropriate as the location originally served as the town depot. To me, what sets this place apart from most is the attention to detail and maintaining a friendly small town atmosphere. The chef is Norris, who served as a Sous chef in Charleston before opening his own restaurant. Anyway, the food will tell you that somebody in the kitchen knows what they're doing. The scallops are the best I've had anywhere, the Charleston red rice has some fire and I highly recommend the crab dip and captain's wafers as an appetizer.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is charming, and the staff is wonderful. Also, they offer a great selection of food at very reasonable prices.
