Visited before a match at Bradford City. Great ales and choice. Good service despite being busy. Like some of the tables and chairs on match days. Less of a squeeze.

Chilled atmosphere - slightly shabby but warm hearted - fine daytime meeting place to discuss politics and put the world to rights. Weird pictures in the loos. Staff friendly and laid back. Worth a visit in this surprising city

Cosy little bar with lovely staff and a good drinks selection. Great for lounging with your friends and idling the time away. They have seating downstairs which is often quieter. I've even seen bands do gigs there although it can get rammed on an evening on the weekend.

Simple, good range of drinks, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff.
Now owned by Kirkstall Brewery, which turned it into a trad pub complete with fake fireplace and Leedsy prices. Still quite a nice bar, but has lost its unique character (and former staff).
