I've been to your place 2 times & loved it both times. Your shakes are AMAZING! Keep up the great work.
Amazing, steak fries with your magical dipping sauce is magical. :)
Best Food in Town ...... Bacon Burger with Swiss & Steak Fries!!!!!
Love the steak fry sauce and chicken club sandwich!!
Good enough. Had lunch here with the family. We had burgers and kids had hotdogs. The steak fries were pretty good and I usually don't like steak fries. I think a place that passes itself as a throwback to the diners of the 50's & 60's should be doing shoestring fries. My wife really liked her burger and the kids enjoyed the hot dogs. Kids meals came with fries and apple sauce so it was a decent value. My burger was OK. It reminded me of the burgers Dairy Queen used to serve before they changed a few years ago. I did have a few bites that had a real carbon flavor like the grill wasn't clean. Didn't like that. We also had ice cream. My shake was really good, wife enjoyed her candy flurry and kids loved the ice cream.
Close to the park and the lake area. A nice spot and worth a stop for decent burgers and short order favorites. Family friendly and nice staff. They got our order exactly right so that is good to. On a scale of 1 - 10, I would give them a 7.5 and almost a solid 8.
Great family owned business! Great place to go for a quick burger. Atmosphere is upbeat, customer service always friendly & good food....you can't really go wrong here. My family has vegetarians & they love the veggie burger. We really enjoy this 50's diner!
Not bad. I really enjoyed my burger. Suprisingly it was not over cooked. So hard to find a burger that isn't over cooked. Buns are toasted.
All of our food came out hot and fresh and cooked to order. The kids fry portions were very small and adult wasn't much better.
The atmosphere is 50's diner and feels good. There is limited seating since it is not very big establishment. There are 2 tables outside. Place was clean and well kept.
The wait wasn't too bad either. Place appears to be locally owned. I am always for supporting locals even on vacation.
Lot of desert options including sundaes, cones, flurries, milk shakes and floats to wash down your burger.
Mom and Pop restaurant with old fashion food. Taste GREAT!! Drove 2 hours through crappy weather to eat here. Would do it again.
Great burger friendly staff beautiful pictures and memorabilia. Not expensive but the quality of the food was excellent especially for the price . Would recommend stopping in for a burger and even take it across the street to the beachfront on the lake.
This fun dinner is a bit of a throwback. Simple menu, fun atmosphere and good value. The bratwurst with grilled onions was really good!
Excellent Burger joint, throwback style. Great food, steak fries, soft serve ice cream.
Quaint 50's decor diner. They carry local Michigan soda on tap, and the food is pretty good. Burgers are made-to-order. This means wait times are a little longer, but worth it I think. Prices are okay; on the high side if you build your own burger.
Diner is small, so I imagine it would be pretty crowded during high traffic times.
Super yummy food with the best secret sauce French fry dip! Small town hospitality with a 1950's atmosphere. Great place to stop with family and friends for a quick bite to eat. You won't be disappointed! Ice cream for dessert! You just can't go wrong! Definitely check it out...you will go back!
The burger was pretty good. Decent food all around.
Typical small town malt shop feel with vintage decor. Food is mostly burgers and fries type things. Four stars only for the long wait, which might have been overlooked since my wife and I weren't in a particular hurry. 10 minutes to be served our fountain drinks, a diet coke and cherry cream soda, seems a bit excessive. Burgers and fries were yummy.
We eat there often and the food is consistently delicious. The fries are awesome. Big, cooked just right,
served with steak fry sauce if you want it. The Mushroom Swiss burger is my personal favorite!
Great place, I love the theme if an old school diner, the food was great as well. The best thing overall was the vanilla malt. Would give it a 5 star if it wasn't for the 45 minute wait for a burger in an empty restraunt. It was worth the wait though.
Our cashier was a little snot that only cared about rushing through our order so she could go home. And she lost our order. Didn't care, "you deal with it" and left. The people left behind to deal with her mess were professional and courteous and the food was pretty tasty! Don't let one snotty cashier keep you from checking this place out.
