Anita’s is the best place to get an Burger or Shrimp poboby in St Charles Parish. The owner is always at the front to take orders and explain the menu. The staff is always friendly. Nice laid back place to get some food.
Literally the BEST Burger you can get in St. Charles Parish. The staff are friendly, mood and atmosphere is laid and relaxing and the food is amazing. The price is in my opinion lower than it should be, the food is that good. You pay more for something at a fast food chain. Come enjoy this hidden secret!
We drove all the way from Ponchatoula to try these burgers. The drive was worth it! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Just a great place to get a really good burger. Will we go again? Already planning our next visit.

For a dollar more than McDonald's you can get a premium sirloin burger with all fresh condiments and premium buns served by local people who actually care about you and your business. A staple of our community and well worth every visit. Even worth the drive if you live across the river, trust me. My kid would choose this over a happy meal even when she was 5. Hole in the wall on the outside, but as soon as you're greeted when you walk through the door and hear the jazz or classic/alternative rock music you'll understand the difference.
My favorite burger joint and now my absolute favorite because debris roast beef poboys. One of the very best eats on the Westbank of St. Charles Parish.
While visiting lannie kinkelaar she brought us to Anita's. The very best juiciest hamburger loaded with mushrooms and onions. French fries were good too. Reminds me a little of the burgers at Darrell's in lake Charles.

Killer little place! The burgers are good. Better get here for when they open, the place fills up quick. Prices are reasonable and there are variety of burgers and poboys.
Really good burgers. Simple frozen steak burgers that are thick and juicy. However, service is getting worse and worse. Popularity has been making wait times consistently over 15 min. Avg 20-25 min wait for a burger...not sure about you...but a decent burger isn't worth that much of my time.

Found this place on Urbanspoon passing thru town, so glad we stopped. Who knew a burger could taste sooo good ?! They had the best char-grilled taste. Great people working there too. We will stop again next time we pass thru town !!
I'm from Luling and there's slim pickins for restaurants in general throughout St. Charles Parish. Anita's is hands-down my favorite eatery. Granted I've only had take-out, the fact that they serve local beer and play decent music - I cannot wait to eat here with friends. Yum!!

Very good tasting burgers and the fries are large and cooked very good too. Fries come with the burger. A lot of fries. Very good place. Mon - Sat 11 - 2. And 5 - 8 closed Sun
Never a disappointment!. My husband works at a chemical plant within 10-15 minutes of this place and any time he calls me and says, "Meet me at Anita's," then I am out the door. Love, LOVE these burgers! They are massive and delicious! Anyone who says otherwise is just trying to be a pill. LOL!!! Keep it up, guys. Don't change a thing.

Seriously good burgers. Anita's has some of the best burgers anywhere. They are also enormous. You could easily get two meals out of the burger and fries combo. They're extremely quick with take-out orders. Sometimes it's ready in just 15 minutes.

First time seeing or hearing of this place. Was driving down Hwy 90 and it caught the corner of my eye so I made a quick U-turn and headed in to see what they had to offer.
The building was made part of a strip mall and was located in the corner building. Once inside, I was excited to see what I call a "New Orleans" theme menu with such names as "Jazz", "Rampart", "The Quarter" and "Streetcar". I walked up to the counter where I was able to observe the kitchen section. The grill was filled with very large 1/2 lb. Black Angus Beef patties and the scent of food filled the room. I ordered a #4 "The Quarter (Bacon and Cheese Steak Burger). The total came to around $10.00 which included fries and a drink (Bottle Style). I was a bit disappointed to the fact there was no option for a baked potato, only fries and/or Onion Rings. The staff there was very helpful and had a great positive energy about being there. The cook was on a constant move keeping up with the many burgers that were already on the grill.
The wait time was about 10 minutes or so as I sat at one of the many small tables in the restaurant admiring the many pictures of old time jazz musicians. The lighting was very low key and was produced by several upright style lamps as well as a few table style lamps. There was music playing in the background from a small radio which I can only describe as blues/jazzy mixed which was very relaxing and upbeat.
My number was finally called and I walked up to the counter to receive my food. The burger and fries came out on a white paper plate. The bacon was soft and the sprinkled cheddar cheese filled the top of the Burger patty. I sat back down and enjoyed the burger bite by bite. The flavor was very good and the temperature was perfect. Next I tried the fries. The fries were a bit bland and did not have much flavor or spice, leaving them undesirable compared to the burger. I finished my burger and drink, threw my plate away and headed out the door.
Overall visit to this restaurant was very good. I would recommend to anyone near the area looking for a good ol' hamburger in a casual style dining setting. The price was fair and the burger was plentiful.

I'm not a burger person, but it was pretty good. The people with me agree theirs was good. They were out of the roast beef. Guess that's a reason to go back! Only wish they had the nacho cheese for the fries.

Small, dimly lit and oddly cozy with the type of music playing ( alternative ? ). Great funky vibe. Energetic counter service. And really good burger - and that is as without a bun ( unfortunately I had to ). Definitely coming back.
OMG! The best steak burgers in town. Yummy to our tummy! I go broke just to buy a random person their burger so they can smile ear to ear while just eating it like I do. This place has me feeling like plankton off of spongebob. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
