When we visited last Sunday, it wasn''t for golf but for a meeting with someone to talk about having our wedding reception at the Golf Club. After our meeting, we decided on having lunch at The Bog Tavern, the bartenders, waitstaff and hostess were all very welcoming, made us feel at home and that they were there to take care of us. I was surprised with the number of people at the tavern for lunch, families and couples, not what I expected at a restaurant at a Golf Club. So I ordered the House-made Bloody Mary (it was infused vodka with bacon), bacon strips, lemon, limes, and a couple olives. Put your tongue back in your mouth please... just kidding, but it was soooooo good. I normally get BMs when I'm golfing or having them on special occasions in the morning but when in Rome, at a golf course, definitely worth it. My fiancé and I split the Cheesy Garlic Bread appetizer, can't describe how perfect the crunch, cheesiness, flavor the cheesy bread was! All I can say is that it makes Dominoe's Cheesy Bread taste like cardboard, nothing compared to the Bog Tavern's! Then for the main course she had the Cape Cod Reuben, basically your regular reuben sandwich but with fish instead of the meat, yes, it was THAT delicious, it was a special so cross your fingers that it's on the menu when you go. I had ordered the Spicy Salmon Burger. I was expecting a legit slab of salmon on the buns but it was like a salmon-crab cake, it threw me off at first but it was awesome! Next time we're in Bourne, we're going golfing there and then hitting up the Bog Tavern for lunch, but don't worry I'll make sure to grab 2 of those bloody Mary's before heading out to the course!

Don’t usually review take-out meals but this was too good not to mention. Fantastic food!! Poutine, fish sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. Excellent, will be back!!

Was good food and service. Great view. This is not the same dinner/tavern as a few years ago. Little more formal. Still a good place. Just be aware as the pictures are mostly of the old place

Really like this place. Unassuming location with great decor and seating. On the deck in the summer is always good. Let me tell you, the food is good, but the "pork wings" blew my hair back. Seasoning and cook was 100%. Everything about this particular app was perfect. No flaws at all. Mains are all good, and service is great. Live music regularly and specials that make this place stand out. Visit!

Loved loved loved this place... The food was fantastic, the drinks just right & the staff was unbelievably attentive, not to mention the chef brought out our dinners & made sure we were happy with our meals....👍👍

Patio dining with a view. Good times. Had calamari, mahi mahi, & key lime. All good :)

The food and service were excellent.

Our party of 3 all enjoyed their bog blt sandwiches with grilled sourdough bread. Thank you Cheryl for being such a friendly and attentive server. The beautiful view of course and bay was extra nice 👍
