Excellent dining experience!
Stopped in to eat upon arriving into town for a live music event...
I had the rosemary chicken sandwich, and my guest had the strawberry cream cheese pancakes...both superb.
Rosemary chicken sandwich was char-grilled chicken...arugula, avocado on a toasted sesame seed/black sesame seed bread...very creative...fantastic pairing...bravo!
We sat at the bar and had good food. Drinks were not great. Ambiance was nice. Overall decent prices and a wonderful place to grab a hot meal. Next time we are in town we will stop in.
Very nice dinner. Loved the fresh trout but the Scallops were by far my favorite though, so much flavor. The atmosphere is nice, you can tell its historic. Definitely would eat here again!
Outstanding food in a historic hotel with plenty of atmosphere. The carrot cake pancakes are well balanced and delightful.
Best meal I’ve had in a while. The experience at farm and fish was very unexpected. The decor inside is very simple and gives the impression of a more casual fare experience - it was anything but. We enjoyed our crudo appetizer which was balanced and flavorful. For our entrees we enjoyed the scallops and sea bass…both divine. Highly recommend especially if you were doing like us and looking for a place close to the theatre. Did I also mention we could hear the live jazz on Friday being played in the adjacent hotel lobby. And our waiter was fantastic and made great recommendations.
This is in the historic Boulderado Hotel. We had lunch here. The food is excellent, our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed the experience. The prices seemed a little high, but that's true everywhere you go for lunch now.
My wife and I just ordered dinner to-go. She got the rack of lamb and I got the trout. We had the tuna salad to start. Even waiting over an hour from the time we picked up our food (long ride up the mountain) the cold food was incredibly good. Reasonably priced for quality food and the hostess was quick and on point. The chef delivered the food himself to the bar. I am impressed with the whole experience.
Beautiful venue. The food was absolutely superb! I will definitely be back.
That said, I had an odd experience. We had a reservation, and after waiting a while a staff member said to follow her to our table. The table didn't yet have chairs or silverware set, so we helped bring them over. Once seated, we asked for water, but ended up pouring our own from the pitcher at the silverware station near our table, since the waiters were all otherwise occupied. It took a while for our orders to be taken, and our waiter was continuously flustered, but the food was all delicious.
