Garlic Jim's Famous Gourmet Pizza

I am an absolutely fanatical pizza lover❤️. I ordered 2 pizzas, BBQ chicken gluten free and thin crust ultimate. The crust on both are perfect, it's difficult for gluten free to get the texture right and garlic Jim's does it spot on. One thing I am super impressed with and so appreciative of is the amazing service here. Even though my address was not in their zone, they were 100% willing to do the delivery. That is phenomenal service. Thank you so much for making my night delicious and an easier evening!!!

I walked in for a to go order, restaurant was dirty and unkept. The lady was very polite when she took my order, and started making my food. She didn't wash her hands or put gloves on before touching any of the ingredients. Total wait time was about 30 minutes, when I got home I realized they made me the wrong bread sticks, and the pizza was pretty bad to. Most of the ingredients tasted like it came from a can, even the sauce. The only redeeming quality was the crust which tasted fresh and garlicky.

Ordered online, and didn't receive any delivery estimate- normally not a big deal, but after almost an hour, I called to check. The person on the phone said they were short staffed. Understandable. But a few dipping sauces were left out of our order. The cheese bread was not only over cooked and stuck to the foil but had a hair on it. One pizza wasn't half olive only-which was ordered. The pizzas were both cold. The salad looked wilted. Overall, not a pleasant experience and will be looking elsewhere for delivery next time.

To be straight forward I would give Garlic Jim's a 3.5 out of 5. My go to order is the old reliable, basic pepperoni pizza, and this was nothing special. I did enjoy the crust, which was thick and the right amount of soft, but the cheese did not stand out, and the pepperoni was especially worse. It was honestly comparable to some of the prepackaged pepperoni I could get at the store. Past the first pizza, the cheesy garlic bread sticks were good as is. Finally, my girlfriend ordered a personal pizza with a ranch base plus salami and chicken toppings, which she describes as quote, tasty and enjoyable. I'll put this place for run of the mill pepperoni pizza more towards a 3 rating, where it personally doesn't mark well on my price to enjoyment rating. As for specialty pizza, I give this place a 4.

We live in an enclose apartment building, the driver refused to take the elevator up to deliver the pizza to our door. Seems silly I know, but he was already inside of our lobby building but couldn’t press a button to our floor to walk up to our door. First pizza establishment that couldn’t 100% deliver to us. Apparently WE had to go to him even though he was INSIDE of our building. No thanks, going else where moving forward.
