My husband and I had an amazing 3 course meal tonight to celebrate my birthday. Portions were generous and lovely to see different things on a menu. The attention to detail and service was lovely. Although pricier than some eateries we felt the meals were worth the money and highly recommend Kirton Cottage. Definitely will visit again.

Was my first time eating at Kirton Cottage. 3 of us had the venison and 1 had the minted lamb and it was gorgeous! Thank you Ambrish for gorgeous food and thank you to the lovely waitress that served us for the evening. Definitely will be back! ☺️

We had a business lunch there with overseas visitors. The food and service were great. This is a very British old world style place. Perfect for traditional lunch or dinner.

Superb Sunday lunch. Super clean white table cloths, gleaming cutlery and glasses. Thank you to all involved.

Went for a quick lunch, but the menu was so inviting we stayed a little longer and had starters and mains from the lunch menu. The welcome was warm an genuine. The service was impeccable. The food was really delicious and healthy! At last, a restaurant that understands the need for hot plates with hot food! The decor and atmosphere hinted towards a golden age which added to the enjoyment of our meal. Thank you to all at the restaurant and we're looking for an excuse to visit again for an evening meal. I'm sure we can soon find one!

Just eaten here for the first time. It's a bit like eating in your nans lounge, however the food is amazing and the service excellent. My only bit of negativity is that I wish I hadn't eaten for a couple of days before as the portions are generous. Will definitely be back. It's a real asset to the area

What a gem of a place in Kirton. We had an amazing meal. I had a steak that was spot on, followed by a ginger sponge pudding My wife had venison and a strawberry cheesecake. The service was excellent and very friendly.
