I actually found this little restaurant really charming. It's definitely not going for ambiance (there was a small gas portable heater keeping the place warm, there was no music playing, everyone was behind in the kitchen when I walked in, the signs are very homemade) but I think that just made it feel very homey.
Unfortunately, the chicken was only ok. It was in desperate need of more seasoning and there were no sauces available sitting out to use. It also doesn't come with rice as a default (you have to pick rice as your side).

Ordered from here off of Uber Eats, chicken was crispy, spicy, and delicious. Definitely a good choice for Korean fried chicken!

Found out this week that K Town Chicken is closed for good. The crunchy fried chicken always had a satisfying crunch to it, and the Original chicken had this wonderfully thick glaze on every piece. The owner was always nice when I'd come to pick up my orders. I loved this place, maybe because it was a true hole-in-the-wall in Allston, where a lot of the local restaurants are being replaced by international chains. I hope the owner and her family are doing well, and I'm going to keep hoping that she'll open a new restaurant some day in the future.
RIP K Town Chicken

So so yummy!! In America it's hard coming across real good Korean chicken like you find in Korea but this place was just wonderful! Loved it!

I come to this unique place many times because I like the good mood that is outline this restaurant. The personel is exceptionally cordial and professional. The service is deeply efficient. Also, the food they prepare is outstanding. I came more than once and I was never disappointed. The expense is honest. I highly suggest this place to to all.

We already paid for the price and tips, but the delivery guy kept asking us to tip him. We explained that we already paid and we were not going to tip him again but all he was saying was that he didn’t speak English. At last, he signed the tip amount by himself in front of us. For us, it was ridiculous because he signed someone else’s card.
However, the most insane thing was the management of the restaurant. They said it was a poor guy who lives from hand to mouth, so we should just overlook the situation. But if so, we would be tipping them twice, which doesn't even make sense for us. They weren't professional enough to cope with this situation.

I would have given it no stars if I could. The worst place ever. Unless you have been starving for a week, do not order food from this place. I made a delivery order and it took an hour and a half to get the food. I called the place twice to see when its coming. The first time I called, the lady said 'Oh really? Wait some more.' The second time I called a guy who speaks neither Korean or English picked up and kept saying 'She left.' I asked when the food will be delivered and he didn't understand(I tried both languages.) I asked "Do you know when the food will be delievered?" and he just said "No." Terrible customer service. Oh and the food... It was cold. I would not call this fried chicken. Their food is a mockery of fried chicken.
