Madera 83 - Boston - Photo album

Authentic Spanish food and so unique from other tapas places in Boston. Plus our server was from Spain so was able to explain dishes in detail and when I asked about the wines she quickly provided samples and surprised me with a wine I actually ended up loving ! Absolutely Delicious food too! Highl
Love this new place! Madera 83 is near the bunker hill monument in Charlestown where Tangierino used to be (Tangierino is now downstairs ) and only one block from famous Warren tavern. They have a great selection of tapas - I tried the empanadas (tipicas Valencianas they explained) and was surprised
As a frequent diner at Tangerino's, I was concerned that the new Tapas concept might be disappointing. We thoroughly enjoyed Madera 83. The waitress suggested an excellent Malbec and we shared tapas. We loved the garlic shrimp, the mussels and the chicken bstilla...a survivor from the old menu. y
Food was very good and the server was so kind! She's from Spain so she was able to explain in details whenever we asked questions about each dish. I've been to several tapas restaurants and this one is definitely unique.
Best restaurant in town, delicious food, great service, and modern decor.
Wonderful ownership and staff. The food was fantastic.
