I would recommend this place to anyone going to Boston, absolutely the BEST pesto I have ever had and delicious bread to go with it. Friendly, cozy atmosphere and great service. Definitely stop in for a bite if you can!!!
Really great place! Have walked by several times going to Blunch, and ended up here for a quick dinner one night. The salads are great, I recommend the one with pear in it. The pizzas were excellent as well, and the service was terrific. Will be back to try to the chicken parm grinder for sure.
If you’re near the south end you HAVE to go here. Incredible food & large portions for a great price. The owner is so kind and gets to know his customers by name. I’ve had pasta, salad, pizza, and all kinds of desserts from here and everything is phenomenal. Quality of a nice sit down restaurant at a fast casual spot, can’t beat it!
I tried the pear parmigiana at the Pizza Festival last weekend and didn’t have a chance to vote while I was there, so I am leaving a review here. The pear pizza was so good that I used the majority of my tickets go back for the same slice. It wasn’t overly sweet despite having fruit and honey, the cheese really balanced out the flavors. I was not in their actual restaurant, but the guy serving the slices was super happy and nice. I will definitely order a whole one of that pizza in the future.
Came on a whim after not doing our research and finding that our original destination across the street was closed on the weekends, so we decided to pop in here. It was before 11:30am on a Saturday, so not quite lunch rush time, so we ordered and got our seats right away.
I got an iced tea from the fridge and ordered pesto pasta, which was delicious. For such a casual joint, this might be one of my favorite pesto pastas I've had in a while. It was also more than enough for me to save for leftovers.
By noontime, more and more people came in, and it seems it's quite popular with folks at the medical center nearby. The seating area isn't the biggest, but it never felt crowded.
I would definitely come back for a casual, affordable, and filling meal!
Great Italian food and good value! Had Cafe Quattro in my office Park for lunch and had a meatball and a chicken parm subs and an arancini - they were all so good and clearly home made. The value was really good, I got all that for $10. Hard to beat that kind of price for how delicious and large portioned this lunch was. Highly recommend!
Amazing food. Had pizza and pasta and was very impressed. Highly recommend trying this spot. 5/5 stars on taste.
Ordered a large cheese pizza which was great but what was really good was the garlic parmesan french fries 🍟.
Also went back for a eggplant Parm sub which was really good too.
Like another reviewer I tried their pear pizza at the pizza festival last weekend and was BLOWN AWAY. I had two slices and voted for them to win! I definitely plan to go to the restaurant now!
Great place, great food, I like everything I've tried, nothing disappoints. They treat ppl really nice and when they get to know you they treat you like family, really worth making the effort to get there and try good food. The cannoli is great.
Its the best italian restaurant i had ever went very good pasta and the best pizza of my life. I recomend it
Love the light, delicious crust and the many unique and traditional pizza options.
I went to Cafe Quattro one evening after class and ordered a small Gennaro pizza. I asked for it to be a bit spicy and for them to add basil. Let me tell you something, this here pizza parlor is a gem. Those making the pizzas have gifted hands. My pizza was sooo delicious. I savored every bite and was glad I had some leftovers to have the next day. Just wow. 😋 And the service was great, the folks in there are friendly. Walk…actually run to get some pizza from this place. I’ll try one of the subs next.
Wasn't looking for too much, just something better than hospital food, but it's nice inside and the sausage, peppers, and onion sub I got was delicious. Pretty big sandwich for a reasonable price and packed full with chopped up sausage.
This is hands-down the best Italian/pizza take-out in the South End - and possibly Boston. The food is consistently good, because it's homemade and it shows all the care put into each dish they make. Evan (the owner) is probably the hardest-working person in the city -- and really has established a great little place that we go to every week. Great pizza (try the pepperoni with fresh basil and garlic!) and great sandwiches (Buffalo chicken is my fav). Also good for coffee/espresso! Would highly recommend.
A jewel in the rough! As good as North End, but a whole lot friendlier. Owner Evan seems to always smile. I have no idea how they make food as quickly as they do. Everything is made with love, care and fresh ingredients.
Every time I go here, I am always met with the friendliest people! The owner (I assume) is so kind and even gives an extra slice or two on occasion. They also participate in Too Good To Good ( the zero food waste app) which is so awesome. Not to mention, the food is great!! Pizza is a go to obviously but I love the Bidabeep as well
Love the food here. Large portions with great customer service.
