The Red Room At Cafe 939 - Boston - Photo album

Great little venue! Have attended a couple well-mixed shows there. There’s no bar/drinks, but great place if you’re in it for the music.
Intimate venue and very fun crowd! I love how close to the stage you can get! Came for Meg Smith and Holden Miller, and will definitely be back for more!
Sounds are great. It is a very intimate venue. I attended a standing only concert and it was great. My only concern is that the stage is only a foot from the floor. So unless you are in the first few rows, you will have difficulty seeing the artist. I think this will be great if with seats so everyo
It's a great small venue, I wish they had raised parts in the back for shorter people, and also if they got a liquor license for events that would be fire, but don't know how realistic it is as I think it's run by BU students? I'll definitely keep checking out the lineups there.
Standing room only venue for intimate shows, featuring local bands and tour acts. There is no alcohol, food, or water served at the venue. Tickets tend to be very reasonable.
Intimate music venue with great sound. No drinks or concessions
Great, small, and intimate venue for a concert. We saw a folksie artist and a rock artist; both had great sound quality and it's tough to beat being between 3 and 25 feet away. Worth noting; minimal seating around the perimeter so plan on standing/dancing or getting there very early
Small and intimate venue. Saw an indie band here and it was a good atmosphere. Wish I knew ahead of time: No bar or even non-alcoholic drinks sold in the venue. There are bars close by if you’re like me and like a beer or two to mellow you out for a show. I was able to go get a bottle of water and
The Red Room at Cafe 939 is an absolute gem of a venue for hearing live music. It is tiny, but because it is run by the renowned Berklee College of Music, it has super professional lighting, sound and video equipment and services for both student and professional performers. Sometimes there are chai
Cool little venue, very intimate. But also not a cool venue because it gets a little toasty in there 😂.
The kids put together this great room for live music. General admisison onlhy- Small venue and standing room only (some sofas lining the walls). Acoustics are fantastic. No drinks. No food. However, Whiskeys and other Boylston Street haunts are right outside.
A terrific small club associated with the Berklee School of Music. Excellent acoustic, good vibe, and intimate. The only downside is that it's on Boylston St, across from the Prudential Center, so parking is pretty much super expensive or else non-existent. But it's Boston and you probably already k
A small venue with a small stage and just enough seating to feel comfortable and yet intimate. Saw a Berklee senior recital here and loved the space.
Wonderful intimate venue with good acoustics. Highly recommended. The only drawback is finding parking in the area, which can be somewhat painful.
I came here for a performance and it was lovely! The food was ok but it seemed like a great place for tourists and students. It's a small cute place, love the red room.
