Great food in a clean atmosphere. Server could have explained how the menu works since it was my first time here. We didn't figure out the menu until after we chose all of the sauces and spicy levels, only to find out we could choose only one combination for our bag of seafood. The Cajun fries were a great addition along with the garlic noodles. Slices we're definitely powerful and delicious enough for you to smell the garlic on your breath for a while. Be sure to use the complimentary mouthwash in the bathroom for that!
Nice concept, truly good food (you actually have a loooot in you plate) and nice service. I am usually not into seafood so when I tried the Clam Chowder (soup), I was surprised...it was actually really tasty! If you’re looking for a cozy place to eat seafood, Loui Loui is definitely the right one.
Was definitely a great place to get a great full seafood boil bag, we miss this location!
Good food but small crawfish and a little over price
Best Louisiana sauce lobster. We are a regular there with friends and family.
It do have a college atmosphere in which is good. I had a chicken wing side with fries but the meat was cooked with the fish & where it doesn't bother me I think that someone should stress the allergy needs. Also no soft drinks just had water. Still liked the place.
I love this place - one of the best restaurants in Allston! I prefer this place way more than Shaking Crab.
1. It’s never completely packed so you get timely water refills and it’s quiet.
2. Seafood boil is a novelty - very tasty, very interactive, and very communal.
3. Dollar Oyster Tuesday’s are so worth it - the oysters taste fresh and aren’t tiny.
4. The sauce is very tasty, with lots of garlic - TRY THE GARLIC NOODLES IN THE BAG, you won’t regret it as the noodles soak up all the delicious sauce.
5. Complementary mouthwash in the bathroom - how cute and thoughtful is that?
Side note: I wouldn’t get the frozen crawfish, coming in during live crawfish season is much better.
