I'm glad I discovered this hole in the wall. The Trifongo de pollo and Jibarita tripleta were both excellent. It is perhaps one of the most authentic Puerto Rican places in Boston. Definitely reminded me of the my vacation in San Juan. I would highly recommend this place if you want a quick take out
First time here! Was absolutely freezing today and was craving some hot food. This was absolutely delicious. I got the Res guisado con arroz blanco. The stewed beef just melts in your mouth and the mashed cassava, plantains paired with it all so perfectly. The beans were also seasoned just the way I
I had 2 chicken pastelitos and the pernil mofongo. Both were absolutely delicious. Best pastelitos I've ever tasted. It was my first time eating mofongo and I'm glad I chose this restaurant. I can't wait to try some of the other dishes. They are so generous with the food. I was expecting a lot less.
I did Too Good To Go here and the food was delicious!! everything was super flavorful and the woman helping me was very kind. Will definelty be coming back here
Great quick Puerto Rican food for take out. I'm from Guatemala and I just wanted some kind of Central America / Caribbean food (rice, beans, plantains) comfort food kind of day and this hit the spot. Super simple place, friendly staff
Amazing every time I go and really good sized portions, everyone is so nice even though I don’t know what i’m doing
Great food. Good prices. Enjoyed the roasted chicken. The roasted pork was tender n crispy.
I absolutely enjoyed working with this business. They had catered my baby shower all the way in Norwood. Everything from calling them, putting the order in, to them making the delivery was professional and punctual. Great people, amazing food, and will definitely be reaching out again for the next e
The food was so good ! Chicken stew, fried plantains, fried pork, rice with red beans and yellow rice! All was perfect and absolutely delicious! You won’t be disappointed! The people running this are also wonderfully generous and friendly.❤️
I tried the maduros, chicken empanada, plain mofongo, alcapurria y bacalaitos. The maduros were perfect! I had wished there was more filling in the alcapurria. The woman at the counter was really nice!! This is not a place with extensive vegetarian options.
This location has been cooking authentic island dishes for decades, the best authentic PR/DR food in Boston in a casual dine in or take out spot-simply the best.
I love this place because they have everything, from my Iland, Santo Domingo, Americans love this food, you should go and try it...
Homemade Spanish dishes and appetizers.. There Cubanos are soo good and traditional you melt at the taste.. A lot of todays restaurants are modern twist.. which is ok.. But if you really want to taste west it all originated from this place is great. From stews and pork shoulder.. ribs rice beans plá
Yellow rice and pork, very good. Had some chicken, perfect!! Will be back for more!
I've been in Boston for the last 3 weeks for work and have visited a few times already. Food is Authentic, Great Flavors and the folks are Super Friendly
I really had to use the restroom even though they didn't have one, but the owner was really nice and let me use their bathroom under renovation next door. The food was super cheap for good size portions; loved the plantain sandwiches!
It was such a hidden gem! Very yummy food and reasonable price. I don't remember the name of my dish but it was basically a pork sandwich between two fried plantain! The pork is very flavorful, and the 'bread' is crispy outside and soft in the middle. My only issue is that it's such a big portion of
