An Tain - Boston - Photo album

Kind of grungy. They have oversized games though that are loud but super fun. Played giant connect four for hours with friends. Large open space. Smallish bathrooms but clean. Definitely had the best prices in the area, beers I think were five bucks when I went. Great place for groups.
We came in with a large party and had a blast. We were served immediately with friendly bartenders and a fun atmosphere. One of our favorite bartenders, Paul, had many drink suggestions. Not one person in our party was disappointed. I highly recommend this bar. Always ask for Paul if you want the mo
This is not "an authentic Irish bar". It is authentic in that it is inexpensive, fabously no frills, and Irish themed. My favorite aspect is the lack of TVs everywhere - this is a place you go to DRINK. And it's one of my favorite bars in the financial district. You meet interesting people with a th
Great place! Friendly staff. Dollar Coors light, Fast bomb food. When you order Cajun fries, they automatically bring out waffle fries. What's more to love?! 5 Stars all day.
What a nice surprise! Happened on this place at the end of our trip. It’s nothing special at first glance but the service was great and the food was, too. The bartender was a really nice guy with a great sense of humour. Cheers from your Canadian friends and Go Habs Go! XD
Great little local near the harbour. Great Guinness and only $6 for a true pint (20oz). And house darts available if you forget to bring your own.
An Tain is perhaps one of my favorite dive bars to go to in Boston. It is tucked away in the downtown financial area however it has perhaps some of the best drink prices. They have combination of whiskey shooters and beer for 10 dollars along with 1 dollar beer. No better deal in the city.
Never ate here, just had drinks. My buddy and I were from out of town and had a fantastic time with the local patrons. We drank brews, watched the Sox, and played cornhole. It was a pretty great night, will be back for the same experience!
One might call it a "Dive Bar" but instead it is a "Locals" bar. During my visit it was full of "Real" and interesting people, not "Suits". I would go back, have a beer and listen to the locals discuss a range of topics from politics, to sports, to movies.
Solid dive bar in the middle of the downtown area. Bartenders were cool as can be. Tom, is a cool dude..when I'm back in town gonna thank him for the solid recommendation Santapios pizza.
Best bar in Boston drinks are inexpensive and the atmosphere is very friendly and fun. They have dollar drafts and no cover!. The staff are friendly they have bags/Cornhole (just ask) and great dj on weekends #djgetitinglynn. Trust me it's worth it to get out of the long line at Coogans and check ou
Good dive bar. They bring in some good live music. Very varied crowd - only wish is that they had more on draft.
Epitome of "local dive" at the center of everything. It's a service industry after work type place.... Or a great place to catch the score (local teams only, plz) or the perfect place to blend in like a local, steps from Faniuel(sp*?) Hall. Sometimes, it comes with face melting drum and bass for th
First time there, I had a show there. The vibe was great and the drinks were great also. Will day recommend every Sunday night.
