The hidden BBQ stand in the middle of a park. I ordered a combo #2 and saw that everybody was raving over the burnt ends so I picked that up as well. The reviews were right, the burnt ends were the best I've tried. I had sides of candied yam, mac and cheese, rice, and coleslaw--all what you would e
This area has a lot of business so most restaurants are geared towards that audience so finding a good small BBQ place was really nice. The brisket was very tender with strong smokey flavor. Coleslaw was vinegar based which isn't personal preference. But the sweet potato fries were fantastic and cri
Ordered a combo plate with pulled chicken and paid extra for burnt ends which were fantastic. As a side tried the Texas caviar, a Tex-Mex bean salad consisting of black-eyed peas lightly pickled in a vinaigrette-style dressing. It was delicious, too.
Went here for lunch. I have never had a good experience with bbq (having only tried places in the northeast) so i had guarded expectations, so i was so happy and surprised when the food was great! I got the bbq spaghetti, texas caviar (a cold black eyed pea and pepper mix), and burnt ends. There we
Larry and the staff are incredibly kind, and made some great food, thanks for your awesome service
Hit the spot! Perfectly smoked chicken and brisket, greens and not overly sweet candied yams. The owner was friendly and engaging as was his lovely wife. We'll be back!
Perched inside of a picturesque greenway in the heart of Seaport, Larry J's BBQ serves about as many staples and mains as you could ask for. If you've spent any time reading reviews of their customer service, you might be inclined to assume that their service is bad, and- as it pertains to customer
Ordered the catfish, fried chicken, and the burnt ends. Perfectly delicious. Will absolutely come again. Larry’s a real one.
The burger I ordered was cooked to perfection. It was delicious. It was a beautiful day to sit at the tables and enjoy my lunch break. 10/10
My second time here. Larry J never lets me down, the pork ribs fall right off the bone. He is only open on the weekends opens at 12 go check him out worth the trip
Larry makes the visit entertaining! Great food and great location. Brisket and smoked/fried wings are out of this world!
Man. Those burnt ends with the Texas sauce was the BEST I've had in Boston - hands down! Tasty collards, but the Mac and cheese missed the mark for me. Good people and easy ordering experience. All in all, I'd come back any day of the week.
Great food in a great spot. Larry can be a little grumpy. My new favorite spot in the area.
My wife and I have been eating at Larry's for a while now. The food is always fresh and well prepared. Larry is a a hilarious chef/owner. He tells you like it is and will strike up a conversation with anyone. Him and his wife are passionate about the their shop!!!
My wife and I shared a medium rib plate with Mac and Cheese and Sweet Potato fries. Very good meal at a very good price. I don’t usually do reviews though this place was definitely work a 5 star review.
I'm rating it for catering, but the food was hot and delicious! I don't eat pork or chicken, so having not one, but two vegan burger options was amazing! The mac and cheese is great, cornbread has a great texture, the buns were fluffy and yummy! While I don't think we did vegan baked beans, the bake
