Great local place in north end. Everything we ate was excellent. Gary and his team were extremely nice and gave great recommendations. We found them on Google from their reviews and they totally lived up to all of the excellent 5 star reviews. I loved the chicken salad Sandwich with hot peepers and it was excellent. Give them a try when you are near by.

I stumbled upon this little Italian cafe last week and was thrilled that they serve breakfast all day. I was on a short layover from the west coast so a fresh, cooked to order breakfast at noon really hit the spot.
The best part of this little cafe is the people. The staff and the locals who came in and out seemed to truly care for each other like family.
I enjoyed the experience so much that when I flew back into Boston this week I made the trek all the way from Copley Place to North End to try a hot sub for lunch.
Once again I got a great meal, cooked to order at a decent price and was made to feel welcome by both the staff and the regulars.
Can't wait to come back!

Gary is an artist when preparing your sandwich. He made sure I got all the flavor of the bell peppers for my Bellini without burying them in the sandwich. Bellisimo! Great food in an authentic Boston restaurant.

What an amazing little gem in the north end! My mother got that Caprese salad, my boyfriend had a meatball sub and I had the antipasto salad and bacon cheeseburger. Everything exceeded expectations. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming.

Nice place, good food & a nice location! The secret to this place is the bread, its fresh and awesome! They used to be Uptown Cafe at another location and this location is much bigger and just enough off the beaten path to make it special! Its only a street or two away from the busier sections which makes it a favorite for people who work in the area, you can walk here without getting bumped and jostled and then sit down and enjoy a tasty grinder. Did I mention the bread!? Its awesome!
I should also mention the greatly expanded menu. Grab a Mangia Special and a chair and your mouth will be in heaven!
