Cool little dive bar we stopped at to grab a drink before an event down the street at Roadrunner.
Drinks were tasty and affordable. Had both craft and domestic beers. Free play pool on Saturday until 6.
Free popcorn.
Touch tunes jukebox is present but while it was empty, the bar was playing a punk rock radio station on XM.
There's a bunch of street parking or the CVS lot across the street.

We had the greatest night. Nice staff we absolutely would have come back. Thanks to the young barmaid with red hair (sorry we forgot your name) you really made our trip too Boston memorable.

Great dive bar. Great staff. Free darts and Pop corn. Cheap drinks. Bar is well stocked. Pinball, pool and arcade games. Juke box. Live music on some nights during the week. Intimate vibe on the week nights. Busy and bustling on the weekend.
The Doctor
Bartender was really nice and personable, didn't know how to make my requested drink, but was more than happy to try the recipe, and it turned out great. Live music in the backroom was loud enough to provide ambiance, but not so loud that you couldn't hear your companions talk. This is a cozy neighborhood bar, and is quite comfortable.

The perfect dive, hands down. Popcorn machine, 9 million tvs (almost), live music, pool table squished into a tiny corner, kitschy decor, regulars-- what more could you ask for?

It's a good place to spend a night with friends. Not the top notch type of a pub, but still very comfortable nice. Restrooms are not in their best shape but they are clean. There is pool table and some playing machines which is a good addition. I don't know if it's always like this but the times I was there it was cash only. But if you won't have cash on you, there is atm machine right inside of the pub.

Best dive bar in Allston and imo the entire city. Have darts, pool and a couple of arcade games. Go to for pitchers of PBR, booths that are 50 years old and of course, the popcorn. Place can get packed on the weekends but the crowd is usually pretty chill. Only complaint is that mixed drinks are a little pricey for a dive bar, but that's Boston for you.

Best bar in Boston. If you shoot pool there's a serious scene here, and you can always get a solid game in with a regular if you stick around long enough. Big buck hunter machine is in mint condition, both PBR AND Narragansett, pitchers if you want too. Folks are friendly, and the wait for a drink is never too long. If you have friends from out of the city visiting this a great spot that subverts the 'big city bar' expectation on almost every level. They also host live music from local bands Mondays and Wednesdays, which is doing wonders for a town that has had a lot of drama with live music venues as of late.
