Came here to check out what all the fuss was about. We had such a great time! The Christmas decorations and music were fantastic. The service was above and beyond, so friendly. The food itself was phenomenal. We did the chef's nigiri tasting and it was a great selection, better than what we could have picked out for ourselves. We also had the spicy tuna rilland it was amazing. I cannot believe I have paid the same price, if not higher, for worse rolls. The drinks were also delicious and so cute. Definitely plan to come back here in the future and try the other rolls!

My friend and I went during their Halloween celebration Scare Leave. It was super crowded, but we were able to find two open chairs at the bar relatively quickly. If you’re going for a special event, definitely make a reservation unless you have a small party. The vibes are great. They had lots of fun decorations matching the pirate theme. The bartender was super nice. My friend and I were talking about different restaurants, and I kept forgetting the name of certain places, but the bartender would interject with the name. Honestly, a G. I got Ahuizotl's Conquest, a cocktail that didn’t have a strong taste other than pure alcohol. Food wise, I also got the okonomiyaki tater tots which were fine but didn’t taste particularly like okonomiyaki. For my main meal, I got the shiitake tempura roll which wasn’t too bad. The tempura was quite crispy, and there were enough rolls that I was satisfied.

Definitely not worth the money as there are far better Omakase's in the city. Majority of the dishes were definitely solid but now exceptional or wow by any means. Most Omakases find a way to really elevate the fish or highlight the natural flavor, most of what we were served was pretty neutral or bland. The experience is good though, very friendly and accommodating, had a lot of fun there.

The food is so great! Everything from their menu exceeds the quality, I enjoyed my last night in Boston so much thanks to this place, I am leaving some pics of that night, I would love to come back when I am back in Boston again.

Cool bar! The cocktails are very intense but pretty fun. Little pricey. You want to go downstairs when you enter. If you go upstairs they will take your skin!

Great spot for dinner and drinks in the South End. The nigiri and sushi rolls were delicious and everything tasted very fresh! The tater tots is more like a bar food, but if you like okonomiyaki then you’ll love the flavor on those. Drinks lean toward the sugary side, but the old fashioned they offer was great too!

This is one of the best value omakase experiences you can get. Not only is $85 a steal for any actual omakase experience with a sushi dedicated to you for 45min, I thought the selection of dishes/sushis provided in the 12 course selection were creative and delicious. Our chef was incredibly professional, kind, hospitable and gave us an overall incredible experience. Top favorites were the akami with pickled wasabi and hamachi with truffle. But every piece was great. Buttery scallops, excellently prepared mackerel with a great pop of aji amarillo, and even Wagyu skewers. Everything was so great that I thought the fatty tuna was one of the less impressive pieces in this omakase which is something I can’t believe I’m saying. Every piece was thoughtful and wonderful. We got sake and gave a generous tip and paid ~$250 for 2 people. You won’t find a better value omakase style experience (you’re seated in front of a sushi chef focused on you) with such a flavorful spread in Boston.

Tiki cocktails are fun and more delicious than expected. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful for picking out fun drinks. The hamachi starter was unreal good, can't recommend enough. Sushi was pretty good.

Food I was mainly coming for drinks and expecting average bar food, but the food was not bad at all. Of course, the drinks were amazing. Everything else The ambiance was very festive. They decorated the whole place with Christmas lights and decorations, and even had the table covered changed to Christmas patterns.
