The food here is really good. I will say, however that I did find it to be a bit overpriced and $6-$7/taco, but that also seems to be the norm lately at these trendy taco spots. Tacos had great flavor and unique ingredients. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating. I didn’t get one but the margaritas look delicious, I would definitely like to go back and try one!

Yellowdoor is one of a kind and has some of the best Mexican Cuisine in Dorchester! Highly recommend! Hailey is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had! The drinks are DELICIOUS!

Small taco bar but big flavors and personality. Every dish on the menu is a delight of the senses and reasonably priced.
Massive tequila selection as well if margaritas are your thing. Staff is friendly and attentive. Location while being small has a lot of life and is decorated well to keep you interested.
A must eat in the area and cannot recommend more.

Yellow door is always best of the best. From incredible service starting at the front door with Megan, to amazing service with impeccable bartenders. And to top it off, the food is ALWAYS delicious. We love this place and HIGHLY recommend!! Ps. Best margaritas around

One of the best Mexican spots in Boston and as someone who lived in California / very close to the Mexico boarder, these tacos are authentic and absolutely delicious. The queso and salsa is also veryyy good. However, I have to admit that the cocktails are even better!! The coconut marg and spicy marg are the best of the best especially made by the bartender Hailey who is beyond attentive and fun! Literally my husband and I drive down from the south shore just to come here. Make sure to sit at the bar and try to get hailey as your server… best vibes, food, and drinks you’ll get!

Was in town for work and was referred this place and I'm so glad I was! Such a unique, cool spot you can tell puts a lot of effort into presentation! My favorite aspect was the drink menu and the fun staff made me feel so welcome. Would come back again and again!

This place was amazing. I ordered the margarita, chips and guacamole, Birria tacos, coconut shrimp tacos (spicy), and chicken tinga flautas. Everything was honestly amazing. The drinks were strong, the food flavorful, and fantastic service. I came from New Jersey hoping for some good food, drinks and service and i can say that this place gave that.

Overall great! The atmosphere was good, food was delicious, and our server was attentive to our needs. They accomodated our diet needs which was appreciated! My boyfriend and I are on keto and they were able to serve us birria in bowls without tortillas which was incredibly tasty 😁

The tacos are a delight. Fresh and flavorful, full of bold flavors. The chicken tinga was rich and mildly spiced. The fish taco was lightly fried, with flaky chunks of fish and a wonderful pineapple salsa.
There is a nice variety of beer, cocktails, and even a cider on tap.

Yellow Door in DOT is such a cute place! So great to go for after work drinks with friends or a date. Highly recommend asking the bartenders for tequila recs, they’re so knowledgeable you can tell it’s something the restaurant really takes seriously! The birria tacos are a MUST! Highly recommend :)

Overall, really enjoyed my experience at Yellow Door. However, they are not without fault. We ordered the queso for an appetizer, and while it was tasty, it was too runny for my liking. The tacos were good, but not great. They are on the small side, and the tacos felt like they lacked taste. The margaritas, however, were spot on! They were delicious and had plenty of tequila. I definitely recommend the drinks here. Like previously stated, the sum of its parts make this restaurant worth a visit.

Delicious food! We got the nachos and patatas bravas for the table - both were incredible and packed with flavor, and we quickly finished them. I also got the birria tacos which was also very good! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Cute spot, retro west coast taco joint look, stellar service at the bar, really fresh drink list, mezcal and (tequila dominate), great beer list (finally), Spanish and Argentinian wines, and perfect tacos! The battered fish and duck were especially good, and the garnishes are unique and on point....the music was fabulous (Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros pandora stream). Fantastic new spot in Dorchester!!!

This place is awesome! Tried 5 different tacos (loved fish & duck most), 2 ceviches (scallop and tuna, loved both) , copious chips /salsa /guacamole, the Mahalo Amigos cocktail (mezcal, ginger beer, lime juice, pineapple, etc. - not at all too sweet!). Very cool spot in a great area on the end of Dot Ave; comfortable, eclectic Mexi vibe; very good service (ie. drinks stayed full). Beautiful food. Ate so much!
You can buy the kitchen a 6-pk, so since the food was so great and so meticulously made, we did it. They give you a cow bell to ring. REALLY was hoping for more hoopla by the kitchen (right next to us) on that one...
All in all, excellent Taqueria - can't wait til they're on every corner!

I really love that this place came to the neighborhood! It's cool inside. The taco selection was great! The food was good. The drinks and bar service, not as great, I'm sad to say as all the drinks looked really tempting, but VERY weak in alcohol content, and pricey at $12 a drink for a glass full of ice and juice or in a tiny little stemmed glass. There were two of us, had 3 drinks each and neither of us had even a slight buzz. So hopefully that gets improved. I'll stick to beer or wine if I go again. 5 stars on atmosphere and decor, 4 stars on food, 3 stars on service, 2 stars on drinks.

Love the atmosphere!!! Loved the drinks !!!! Loved the music!!!! Loved the food!!! It was a bit hot in there but that will eventually be fixed. Love the $4-5 tacos we tried 8 different types all great. I highly recommend the cervice.

The food was amazing - so tasty and fresh! And the service was outstanding- it is a busy little place that is for sure but there was no wait for food and no rushing us out (granted Monday's don't have the crowds that later in the week will!) my 2 two friends and I really enjoyed our evening and will be back!

Place is small, limited menu, cocktails pricey. Don't get the concept if you sit at the bar while you have a 45 minute wait for a table you must order something to eat. We were told if we didn't order we need to stand & wait for our table?????

Saw this place on the Phantom Gourmet and ended up going the same day. I have to say that I absolutely loved it. The strawberry margarita is delicious and the tacos are superb.

Great place. It's a small so get there early. They open at 4:00PM and there was already a line.
The talks were awesome so were the drinks.

Our first visit here. Rachel our server was fantastic and very friendly and helpful. Drinks were strong and well made. Started with Tuna ceviche, was so good! We had 5 different tocos and all were delicious, but our favorite was the Pork Belly tocos. Careful ordering the Day of the Dead tiki drink as it will make you write outstanding reviews!!
