Well worth the stop this evening. The dedicated, paved, free off-street parking lot across the street was a nice surprise. Their friendly staff was on their game. The food (chicken/eggplant parmigiana) was tasty - just a little over-cooked. The atmosphere was fine - though the decor is well dated
The Pleasant Cafe is an institution. Simple but delicious comfort food served in a remarkably preserved setting. You'll feel like you're back in time. Caters to locals. Pizza is legit!

The waitresses are lovely old ladies that are absolutely phenomenal. The food is solid and very affordable.

Been coming here since I was a kid and recently came here for lunch with my wife's side of the family. Love everybody here and I got the eggplant parm. It's very tasty and it is one of my go-to meals. I won't ever stop coming back.

The food, service, and atmosphere were 10/10! Everything about this place is great. The interior, exterior, wait staff, and food are quite charming. If you're in the area, you have to try it here!
Great team they got going for them. My parents used to come here, now I’m coming with them. Food was awesome! Love Maureen she is the best! The lady helping clean up was a sweetheart as well.

If you are looking for thin crust, just what you need pizza...this is the spot. Nothing fancy for sure...but you will be pleasantly surprised. We have come here for 30 years...defines neighborhood place. We return even though we are no longer in the neighborhood.
