Great food and wait staff!! Would def recommend this place to anyone.
I live in Texas and rarely find anywhere that serves Irish food. I absolutely love it here when we visit the staff is amazing, food is great, and atmosphere is fantastic!
I love colcannon and the steak tips!
We visited Boston 10 years ago and loved this place. It's still great! Super friendly staff - we asked about ingredients in the beef stew and found out the secret.
The folks at Kinsale were overwhelmed after the Boston women's rights march. In the middle of a Saturday afternoon, there was a line literally out the door. But they all kept their cool, were courteous and nice to us, and very concerned about the wait we had to endure. It was obvious they were doing their best to keep calm and keep things moving.

This was one of our best meals while visiting the area! And our waitress Kaylee was an absolute JOY!
Love Kinsale been there on many trips to Boston and always take people in for eats and a beer.
Great place for full Irish Breakfast too. Just one disappointment after the Eric Church concert last night the kitchen was closed on our walk back to our hotel, we would have loved a late night burger or Stew with our Guinness.
Loved the drink Just Peachy!! Very cool atmosphere!! Love the live music!!!
We stumbled up the hill from our hotel and saw the crowd inside. We were welcomed in, seated, and served by a smiling young lady who obviously liked her job. The food? Amazing. Not your average chowder, burger, or grilled cheese! And the fries are terrific, too. We will be back for more Guinness, and to try other menu items before heading back to NC!

We live about an hour away- and without hesitation I will gladly spend the 100$ more to go into Boston just for a bowl of their tomato soup and grilled cheese! By far the best meal we have had in a LONG time.
Food was great , awesome and welcoming staff and huge portions. Going back soon
A very nice pub with a great atmosphere!
On Mondays there's an offer for wings, and they're delicious! On Tuesdays they have a live band show.
Their salads are good as well. Service is good.
Lots of options for alcoholic drinks as well.
Went to check out this place because of the World Cup and discovered the most amazing breakfast I’ve ever had! It is a combination of sausages, grilled veggies, potatoes and more! Now every time friends or family are visiting from out of town I insist to take them here for breakfast.
I've been to this place quite a few times over the years and really enjoy it. Often find myself gravitating back to the Reuben with truffle tater tots, but the menu is very good Irish pub food. They do a nice brunch on Sundays as well. The beer list is expensive but pretty good -- certainly in the top 10 or so in Boston. Outside seating that is covered makes this a popular choice -- and the fact that it's a little further from Faneuil Hall makes it a little less crowded than those restaurants. All in all, a great choice!
I had the chicken pot pie, which was deconstructed (see picture). It was really good and interesting. It was only $10, which was great. My server was really good. The place was understandably empty at 11:15 on a Sunday, but I liked the decor.
Top notch St Paddy's Day Irish pub. Solid food. Attentive and friendly service. Great live Irish Music!
Great place to get familiar with Irish food. Wide choice of entrees. Lot of space inside. Friendly and kind staff.
The food is very good. They have a half decent selection of beer and the menu is just the right size. Not really a tradition pub in the sense it's in a modern building but it does seem to transport you. There is outdoor seating as well. Wish the prices were a couple dollars less but that's not a huge issue.
This is a great Irish pub to get a pint. Awesome draft beers and good food. Our waitress was very attentive, kind and always there to get what we needed. My only very minor dislike was that it was quite noisy. So if you want to have a nice peaceful meal to get away from the city sounds, this isn't the place. But remember, it is an Irish pub. So noise must come with that.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would gladly go back. The Shepherds pie was awesome. You can't go wrong stopping here to get a taste of Boston.
This place rocks! I was there with my friend. We tried Cesar salad, Fish and chips and Chicken and chips. All of them were great. There were a lot of people at the bar, too. They were really hospitable and offered us a free ice cream cake as the birthday gift!
This restaurant is a nice place that hosts fun stuff and is located right on city hall plaza. The food is more or less average for a pub, but it has never been bad. Sometimes there is live music. If the weather is good the front opens for open air indoor seating and patio dining. There is a bar area and a separated dining room which is kid friendly.
Went here with two friends, early on a weeknight. The service was terrific. Atmosphere very good (and quiet, maybe won't be later on). The food was terrific. We had burgers and sandwiches and loved them, good beer too. Definitely recommended
My wife said it was the best turkey burger she'd ever had. I had the Irish combo and a Tullamore Dew that was perfect. Good service, great atmosphere. Would have been five stars if they weren't out of the desserts
Great place to eat lunch downtown across from the iconic glass gem of a T station. Nice salads when it's hot, fish and chips when it's cooler, shepherd's pie when it's cold. At night full bar, nice range of beers, and reliably good servers at all hours.
