Broadside Tavern - Boston - Photo album

I'm updating my review because I came here again and was massively underwhelmed. We got the Buffalo cauliflower app, which was $16 for a bit of (maybe steamed?) cauliflower pieces drenched in sauce. Other times i've gotten this app at other places, it was at least toasted or fried, or something done
Quiet, friendly bar for someone travelling alone. Took a weekend trip to Boston on my own and chose this place near to The Dagny hotel based on its reviews - it was great. There are plenty of booths, and lots of bar seating. I don't enjoy sitting at the bar, but the server was more than happy to sea
Went to Broadside Tavern while in the Boston harbor area to grab a bite with friends and our kids. It was a very pleasant experience with a straightforward menu and plenty of accommodations for everyone (some in the party are on a gluten and dairy free diet). I ordered the steak tips and they were d
Very pleasant, quiet, pub place that focuses on basic pub food. Great place to grab lunch with colleagues, or even to grab a bite by yourself. I had an excellent Greek salad (good amount of feta and olives) and a Broadside burger. Attentive service.
I come to broadside every single time I’m in Boston. It has never disappointed. The food is amazing, the restaurant has a great ambiance, and the service is always so friendly and welcoming. The best compliment I can give is that if I lived in Boston full time this would be my cheers style bar. I h
Broadside Tavern was easy to find. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was delicious and portions were generous. It was lovely to meet Theresa and be welcomed from Ireland. A place we would visit again for sure.
On a trip from New York and decided to try this place out and so glad we did. Ordered an apple and goat cheese salad and the steak entree and both were delicious. The steak was so flavorful! The inside of the restaurant was so nice, had many tv’s that gave it a bar and grill feel while also feeling
I ordered the Chipotle chicken sandwich, and it was great. I would come back again
Went to Broadside twice on our recent trip to Boston for the marathon. It has a nice, cozy tavern feel - as it’s name suggests. All the food our group had was very good. A fresh local cod sandwich, big hearty cheese burger, chipotle chicken sandwich, tuna melt, and a wrap were our choices. The fish
Great service, seated quickly, nice waitress, and most importantly, tasty food! The sampler was by far the best sampler I’ve had. Waffle fries with just the right amount of cheese on top, yummy mozzarella sticks, and buffalo moist juicy chicken strips. The tortilla soup was also nice and it was only
A nice Irish restaurant in Boston. Food is great, and it was much larger than I expected. The sizes of side dishes were almost equivalent to those of main dishes.
Happened to wander into Broadside Tavern for dinner. What a great place! Thoroughly enjoyed their clam chowder. Mmm mmm good! Their fish and chips were crispy and not oily. Lots of food too! Enjoy! We certainly did.
We were expecting more Irish inspired dishes. Food leaned on the American side. The Reuben and clam chowder were VERY flavorful though and I would go back for them. Reuben - every bite had perfect flavor Chowder - class in every bite and I felt no sand! Pumpkin pie Martini was ok.
Turkey and avocado club lovely, fries a little salty for me but ,great and a good Choice of ipa beers very pleasant atmosphere. Wife was gluten free and enjoyed her gluten free roll/club
Excellent food and great prices. Clam chowder is amazing. Great outside area as well if it's not too hot. Kids menu has generous portion sizes
I ate here while in town for the Boston Marathon this past April. This place has it all! Great food, great service, great cold beer, and fun filled locals!! You can't go wrong!!
The sign inside said they had won awards for the chowder. And I often wonder about whether reality can live up to expectations. I ordered the chowder and was skeptical. However it is some of the best I have ever had. Creamy without being too thick. Some brinoised potatoes and so many clams!! A g
Broadway Tavern is one of those Corner bars in downtown Boston where you can be treated to a great meal. They have a good selection of salads hamburgers but the real draw is there draft beers and ipas and lagers and Stouts. I always find it's rather busy the staff is nice but doesn't really have tim
The service here is great and quick. The food was pretty good too, had a burger and the Irish curry with fries.
