Sol Azteca Restaurant - Boston - Photo album

Visited this place on a fine evening, luckily we got a table while most of the time you have to reserve one in advance. Enjoyed the outdoor dining and we got the combinations and steak. Firstly, their chips and salsa were amazing and really one of the best I have ever had. It was really fresh and de
BEST FRESH SALSA This place has one of the best fresh salsas and guacamole! The nachos are gonna makes you feel full. However it is best suited for a table of 3 or more. They drinks are good and the staff are accommodating with the customer request. I ordered a guava premium drink and asked them t
We went here for a celebration dinner! The staff was very nice and the guac was fresh with the tortillas. The food overall was good. The vegetarian option could have been better. The mole poblano is a safe choice.
The atmosphere is really nice. The food is so authentic and homely. The mole poblano was amazing. Strongly recommended
Sol Azteca is a classic Mexican restaurant where you can get traditional dishes and excellent margaritas. I’ve been here several times and I’ve never had a bad entree. I’ve had the enchiladas and the quesadillas and really liked them! One thing I’ll make mention of is the queso asada appetizer. It’s
Amazing food, big portions, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. This place deserves five stars! Delicious fresh salsa and tortilla chips are also served with your food.
The enchiladas rojas and the nopales (cactus) were both amazing. Complimentary chips and salsa with refills if you like. We sat outside and the service was attentive and friendly.
Food was very enjoyable and service was friendly. Definitely would go again.
Great service, friendly staff! We had the burrito azteca and the burrito vegetariano. Both came with good portions of rice and beans and tons of sauce over the burrito. The salsa that came with the chips tasted fresh and delicious! We would come here again.
On the pricier end but worth it. You will have leftovers. Best Mexican food I have found in Boston so far. Please go with an appetite for good comforting food. Great service and people. Also try the house infused ghost pepper cocktail.
Fantastic place that sits very close to the Fenway area. They had some delectable vegetarian options and they customize the order according to your preferences. The service is very warm and I’d certainly recommend trying their Tamarindo margarita. They’ve made sure that it hits your tastebuds the ri
Sol Azteca has had the same staples for years and has been consistently yummy all this time. And all these years, we tend to order the same thing: Mole Poblano and Vegetariania Tostada! You can't go wrong with either of those dishes.
They give a very generous portion of complimentary tortilla chips (see pic!). The chips were not oily and the salsa also tasted delicious and fresh. Mango chicken and fajitas both were great. They have several flavors of margaritas to choose from as well. Only negatives were that service was sligh
Great food! It was pretty busy when we went to eat, but service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!
Definitely one of the better Mexican places in Boston. I love the steak burrito and their rice is so great. Good atmosphere as well.
Good food and great service! We were on a tight schedule and had to get food fast, and we were able to get in and out in 20 minutes because of the amazing staff!
I have visited Sol Azteca during the last 40 years and the food is still as good as it was in my 20’s. Everybody is friendly and they make you feel at home... “mi casa es su casa” kind of thing. I love Sol. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Boston.
I grew up in NM so I've been to my fair share of Mexican restaurants. This is the closest to authentic Mexican I've been to so far in Boston.
