We had a Rocket salad and my wife liked it so much she bought another to bring back to our room! The Margarita pizza was not that lucky. It was being eaten as soon as it hit the table. Excellent thin and crispy crust and the tomato sauce actually tasted of tomato. Excellent pizza we will be back before we leave.
This place is going to put Boston on the map for pizza! Best pizza in Boston and worth the trip. Support this local business!
Made the drive out from NYC to try Florina pizza. I've heard rave reviews about this place & as a pizza lover I had to come try some.
I got the regular & Sicilian. I loved the regular slices. They were crispy & thin with a delicious blend of cheese. The sicilian slice tasted just average to me.
Street parking is impossible here as it's in the heart of the historic Beacon Hill section of downtown Boston so you'll want to look for a parking garage with decent rates. I took the risk & parked next to Boston Common Park where the signs read "Tow Zone" & Residential permit parking only" but be careful, lol.
This pizza shop is one of Bostons finest so go ahead & give it a try.
Had to try this place after reading all of the positive reviews about their pizza. We ordered the margarita pizza and the linguini and pesto. Both were really good. Pizza was amazing. Well worth it.
Ended up in beacon hill over the weekend and googled pizza spots and landed on Florina. Ugh it was so good. Barry was very friendly. I went back 2 days later with my family. I love pizza and I’m very particular about it. Thin, good cheese to sauce to dough ratio. Good crust.
The slices were humongous! But more importantly, the pizza was fantastic!! Florina's is across the street from the Boston State House, so you can imagine how busy this place is. Not being an employee of the State House and just playing a tourist, I was fascinated by the amount of traffic in this cozy pizzeria. I did not try their other menu items, but they have pastas, sandwiches and salads. They all must be good (from the number of patrons). Writing this review makes me want to travel back to Boston for another slice of cheese pizza. Excellent.
Hands down one of the best, if not the best pizza in Boston.
I’ve tried the best rated pizzerias in Boston, but I think Florina’s Pizzeria beats them both taste wise and Price wise.
8$ for large cheese slices and a coke? Can’t beat that in Boston.
Here are some pics of different slices that I ordered
Pizza was very good! I love a good thin crust. It’s small inside, but they have a decent amount of seating! Don’t get the meatball with peas in it. I personally did not like the taste, and I wasn’t sure why it came in a big metal bowl. Maybe I’m missing something. Other than that, my husband and I loved stopping here for lunch.
Really good pizza with unique options! Arancini was great too. Happy about the gluten free option. Wish they were open on the weekends and we’d definitely be getting over here more often.
We stumbled on this place looking for a spot for lunch. We are happy we did. Great food selection from pizza to paninis. We will be back for sure.
Friendly owner and staff. Me and three buddies from Louisiana ended up in Boston and happened to stumble upon this pizza place on our day in town. Best pizza the three of us have ever had. We ate our pizza without saying a word, speechless. Had nice conversation with owner and other members of the staff after our meal. Will return to boston one day, and this will be my first and last stops in town.
got the slice of the day for $5. It was awesome. Thin crust. It was quite small but a nice space.
