Angela's Cafe Orient Heights

Carlos, our server was amazing and attentive. The food was delicious! The best Guac and home fries I've had in Boston. The guac tasted and looked freshly made. The home fries are not the dry type, they're boiled, sautéed with onions and green pepper. The chorizo was freshly grilled. They offer the option of ground chorizo or grilled chorizo sausages. Will definitely be returning and sharing this location with more people. 😌

Lots of young families there today at mid-morning. Excellent food and service. My favorite is Chiles Rellanos - - - - their recipe, like most places in Mexico and Central America - - is different. Very tasty, freshly prepared, light breading fried over mild poblano pepper filled with cheese. On the side were beans and rice. FRESH shredded lettuce and tomatoes sprinkled with citrus juice made a tasty salad. I shall return.

Being from California and also having been to Mexico I’m always looking for a great Mexican joint with bonus points for good location and this place is the ultimate check off for it. Conveniently located near the train station at Orient Heights and just outside of Winthrop, this spaciously open and brightly colored restaurant offers both delectable food sweet friendly service too! I’ve had the chilequiles which are AMAZING but I craved French toast so opted for Angela’s special which was just as appetizing. This is a must come for your spring/summer lunch!!
