Penang - Boston - Photo album

Loved the food that I ordered here! I loved the pancake? that you use to dip with curry. The stir fried dishes were really yummy (really recommend the beef) so I will definitely come back here!!
Penang will absolutely never disappoint- their Wonton soup is one of our faves; comforting with a big pile of thin egg noodles and plump, juicy wontons! The string beans are fried to perfection- other hits include their chicken pad Thai and Roti Canai
The food came in big portions but the taste was a bit too simple, maybe because of the menus I chose. However, I think the taste of the satay sauce is important. It should be tastier as I'm quite used to this menu and tried many places elsewhere.
Everything about this place gives me a sense of home. The vegetarian and vegan dishes are so good, and I've also attached the picture of the foods I ordered! (I had ordered the large coconut rice, the Buddha Yam "pot", stir fried noodles, and stir fried veggies!) I definitely recommend this place!
Good food. Busy place, nice atmosphere. I loved the roti curry appetizer plates. The fried rice was delicious... the green beans was my favorite dish, sautéed with crispy pieces of garlic. The beef curry, meat was very dry and not tender, sauce was decent. I really enjoyed our shrimp thom yum. The
Watermelon juice was super sweet not sure if they added sugar but still could taste legit watermelon so it was good. Fast plate of chicken rice and Laksa. Great portion for the price! When we swing back around to Boston we will surely stop in.
the only good malaysian food around boston that brought to you the local authenticity of malay/Chinese cuisines. their chicken is amazing with all sort of sauces. the restaurants are family oriented style with good vibes
I visited here for something NEW away from hot pot or Asian fusions. This Malaysian restaurant was quite cozy and the service was very very fast. Also the food was awesome and reasonable. I honestly was not satisfying with the temperature of dishes (a little cold for me) but still the chicken skin w
That fact that I got a hot soup after a day of walking and biking and still think its great says enough. I got the Prawn Mee and it has two type of noodles. Thick egg noodle and vermicelli. Lots of shrimp and pork in it. All delicious and not too salty. I want to come back for the laksa. I bet this
Excellent food and amazing service. I tried the Homemade Roti Canal and Chow Kueh Teow. The roti canal was exceptional; being from India, it reminded me of my childhood favorite parotta salna. Even though I am not a fan of squid, it blended very good with the noodle and loved it. I hate the fact tha
Penang is great for large group dinners. My family and I used to go here a lot. It can get quite busy given its location in the heart of Chinatown, so try to make a reservation. There are a lot of options that are all decently priced and large enough to be shared. I like the pad Thai and Hainanese
I came to Boston on a business trip for work. This restaurant has very good food; the tai ice team is delicious, the appetizer suggested was very savory and the food was very well portioned (large), tasted good, and the presentation was nice. I highly recommend to anyone who travels.
We liked it. It was super tasty and price is good. Will definitely come again.
Hainanese chicken is the must have. The food came out at flashing speed and tasted great. We always come here after going to Boston events. Very reasonable price. The restaurant is sometime packed so would need to reserve a head of time
This was our first time at a Malaysian restaurant. All the foods we ordered were excellent. I asked one of the staff if these were traditional items, and she assured me that these are dishes you can find all over Malaysia. Everything on the menu looks so good. I will make many return trips to Penan
