Asta - Boston - Photo album

It’s hard to review a tasting menu place, the food changes based on ingredients and the chef’s choice, so the food experience can be different for each patron. But what made this truly memorable for me was the outstanding service of the restaurant’s team and the humble attitude of the chef himself.
Beautiful and thoughtfully prepared tasting menu. We were surprised and excited by each dish and were very impressed by the extent to which the staff were willing to discuss what they were serving. Not to mention, I'm forever grateful that they accommodated my proposal! Please pay them a visit!
Excellent tasting menu with creative vegetable dishes. Recently took a visit to try their vegetable-forward tasting menu. Without a written description of the menu, we didn’t know what to expect, but the tasting menu was a good mix of vegetarian and omnivore dishes. Our meal started with a radish
From booking to the check everything was flawless. Enjoyed every second. Totally worth every penny. Will for sure be back.
I had an all around outstanding dinner at Asta. The food is creative and unique without feeling pretentious and everything in our tasting menu was delicious. We did the wine pairings and I was impressed with some unexpected combinations that I really enjoyed. The service was lovely and it felt speci
Asta was a fantastic experience. Our hostess was graceful yet fun and attentive. It was a pleasure to watch Chef Alex Crabb and his team in live action exciting every dish perfectly but unpretentiously. Although all courses were good, the ravioli, the bass, and the foie gras blew my mind. The cherry
Asta is like having dinner at your friend's home, except the food is better and more inventive. New potatoes with raspberries and egg foam are a revelation: who knew that potato and raspberry belong together? Smoked, crispy bluefish replaces bacon in a corn chowder, and the effect is brilliant: the
Pretty awesome dining experience, but like a lot of others have said we were served a lot of root vegetables, which bothers me from a value perspective. We got the 5 dish tasting and dishes were delicious and wine pairings were great! We got the foie Gras add on and split one order for two, which wa
We had a nice dinner here. If you let them know ahead of time, they will prepare a gluten-free tasting menu for you. The only course they skipped was the bread course. It would have been nice to have a gluten-free option for that as well.
The place is very nice and the service exquisite. Every dish was nicely presented. For me it wasn't a 5 star because everything was really good but none of the dishes blew my mind. The menu changes often so I'm sure they have amazing dishes. Out of everything we had the scallops with capers was prob
I've lived in this neighborhood for a number of years. Today was my first time trying Asta and I can't believe it's taken this long for me to have this experience. I can't wait to come back. Even on a Valentine's day, a day notorious for half heated service and poor seating arrangements at most rest
We got the 8 course + wine pairing and the food was incredible. Expertly prepared lamb, wonderful cherry souffle for dessert, and intriguing smoked beer and smoked tea beverages (in addition to the wine) to complement the dishes. The service was very good and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.
One of the best meals of my life. Best asparagus, best foie gras, best duck I ever ate. And everything else was excellent too. Lovely service. Close to perfect. Wines by the glass could be better but that is nitpicking.
The staff are wonderful and the food was exceptional. The wine pairing was better than expected.
