The place is fantastic for celebratory dinner or brunch. The music and vibe is on point. It's a fantastic blend of Mexican and modern cuisines.
The drinks are really well made. It's a bit pricy, but worth it to visit. Diablo was my favorite.
They also have vegetarian options. We trilled corn bread and corn on the cob. Corn bread was rich and delicious.
Parking is hard to find on the street, but you can find parking spots nearby. Make sure to reserve a table beforehand, they are always busy.

The atmosphere is great, ordered 4 dishes about $124 including 20% tips. It’s not easy to find parking outside of this restaurant. You might be able to find some spot near convention center then walk few min there.

Beautiful location to have brunch, but the food was just ok. It seemed like a lot of their dishes just involved putting a lot of Mexican ingredients onto a single plate, so the individual flavors were lost. The guacamole was very good and fresh. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable for the generous portions. I probably wouldn't come back again.

Always a good time at Lolita’s. Their cocktails have been on point most of the times but this time round I found the house margarita not quite up to standard. Just felt off. The ambience indoors is quite surreal bordering on the spooky if you really aren’t into skulls and red/black colour theme. Our waitstaff was very polite, attentive and helped us with our ordering while we got a little too confused. Make sure to get reservations or else you wouldn’t really be able to get a table during the weekends. We also checked out their patio which was quite full and considering it was a hot day out, our choice to stay indoors helped.

This was such an experience from the moment we walked down the stairs to the moment we left. Sitting right on the water getting patio seating is difficult but that was expected. Reservations inside are required especially during the evenings I would recommend on a Thursday. The vibe is dark and gloomy but not too much, music is on point makes you want to dance! Service was incredible with the start of a pallete cleanser and finished with complementary cotton candy treat it was fun. Dishes were small and delicious. Highly recommend!

Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar is a fantastic blend of modern style and Mexican tradition. I visited their bar for appetizers and a margarita, and it was a great experience.
They've been offering a unique twist on Mexican cuisine and craft cocktails since 2010, and it shows. The menu combines traditional Mexican flavors with a Boston twist, making each dish a pleasant surprise.
The margarita I had was expertly made, and the appetizers were both delicious and beautifully presented.
If you're planning an event, their private dining spaces can accommodate gatherings of all sizes.
Overall, Lolita is a fantastic choice for modern Mexican cuisine and crafted cocktails in a vibrant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Chicken quesadillas as appetizers were so good, heavily loaded with chicken, highly recommend. The grilled street corn had a little too much mayo and cheese for me so it was very mushy. The grilled steak tacos were good but saltier than I would’ve liked. The ambience inside was dark and candlelit, but the outdoor patio seating was super cute and on the waterfront.

Pretty fun place to be! Cocktails and food is good. Just have to come with a valid ID that shows your birthdate (for locals) and a passport for internationals. Only passport is accepted for internationals otherwise you cannot enter. Especially on a weekend night.

Pricey? A little. Worth it though.
You get a thing of shaved ice grapefruit. The food was brought out quickly. Food was delicious. Then when we thought we were done they brought out a whole cotton candy with pop rocks thing. It was delicious. Also temporary tattoos.
The atmosphere was gorgeous. The tables had skulls with flowers on them. The walls were intricately painted. Everyone was very nice.
It was a little difficult to find, as the main doors do not have a sign on them. I'd go back.

Lolita Fort Point, a sparkling gem nestled at 253 Summer Street, serves a compelling blend of fusion Mexican cuisine in a picturesque location by the river. It boasts a 3.75-star food rating, with tasty dishes paired exquisitely with a splendid selection of house cocktails. The décor is stunning, and the ambiance, elevated by lively music, adds a vibrant layer to the dining experience. However, be prepared for an at-times long queue; weekend reservation is recommended.
Overall 4/5
Food: 3.75/5; Service: 3.5/5, Ambiance: 4.5/5, Cleanness:4/5
What truly sets Lolita apart is its dual dining areas. Though both indoor and outdoor settings have their unique charm, the outdoor area, with its river bar, is my personal favorite. It encapsulates the allure of summer in Boston perfectly.
Remember to carry your ID for an uninterrupted experience. Lolita Fort Point is indeed a delightful summer getaway, a fusion of elevated Mexican gastronomy and vivid atmosphere.

Go for: The ambience transports you into another world for a few hours. And no doubt you'll supply them with free advertising by tagging your location when you post a photograph of the unique restaurant interior on your social media account.
Avoid if: You can't stand paying for a dining "experience," aren't prepared to empty your wallet by the time you leave, or you drove to Seaport and want to park your car anywhere nearby.
Something surprising: The two Lolita locations are among the many over-the-top, indulgently stylized eateries from the COJE Management Group. If the decor makes it feel like luxury, is it luxury?
Reservation needed? Yes, almost always.
Overall Experience: 4/5. Conceptually - glad this place exists. What they're doing is unique, the food is good, the drinks are okay (nothing to write home about). You forget you're in Boston for a little while, which is cool. It's all just a little pretentious, overpriced, and excessive.

We had an excellent time! It was our first visit and we didn't know what to expect. The atmosphere was terrific. The service was great. And the granita and cotton candy surprises were so fun! The food was also very flavorful and delicious. The tuna totasda was particularly amazing. We will be returning and recommend to anyone looking for great food and drinks in the city!

Outdoor seating overlooks the canal. Indoor dining offers a sultry atmosphere.
We had the trio but our favorite was the lobster guacamole. They can accommodate dietary restrictions. Valet parking is available at the end of the street by Moooo.

Lolita offers a truly unforgettable dining experience. The fusion of traditional flavors with modern twists creates dishes bursting with creativity and flavor. The exceptional cocktails perfectly complement the meal, while the attentive staff ensures a memorable night. A must-try for food enthusiasts looking to an indulging experience.

The food was outstanding and affordable. Street tacos were great...but the cornbread was crazy memorable. We also got to sample burger sliders...so moist and flavorful. Drinks were great.
The ambience was fantastic!
Only downside.. it gets loud! Outside might be better...but then you miss the creative decor, which includes red chandeliers!

Food was fresh and very flavourful, portions are kinda small, especially the tacos and they are not cheap either, The place was fully booked on a Sunday evening, we had to sit in the lounge which ended up being nicer lol. The decorations of the place are beautiful and different, definitely a change of scenery.

Went with a group here and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was perfect and seemed to change for whatever occasion such as business lunch, romantic date, or festivities at the bar. The food was presented well and the taste was on an entirely different level. Good selections of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. We cannot wait to visit again!

Great experience! Fun drinks, yummy appetizers food (entrée portions smallish, which is was just fine), nice service. Recommend, even if just for the granita to cleanse your palate and the cotton candy that comes with the check.
